I'm good with that. Just make sure we get the right map choices, i.e. nothing that starts with 12 terrs each and that sort of thing. Berlin is a great doubs map. Any other ideas?

And I really love the "First turn deploy only" rule. It makes such a difference, though maybe not as much in doubs as it does in 1v1.

Not sure the first turn idea is good for dubs.
I could create a list of maps for dubs that are good, in my opinion. But, open to randomizing so maps are more neutral.

Agree and excited to play with and not against COF :D
Open for whatever; maybe 4 esc/ 4 trench/ 4 standard chained ns
And a tiebreaker.
We can agree to whatever maps or randomize it.
1914/Malta are solid trench dubs maps
Draknor, 1982, austerlitz, forbidden city good dubs tooā€¦

Lets play commentary pretending that we live at the time when Chariot of Fire (Beast) was (still) alive, as it is the case now when I have him on ropes.

The Beast is defeated in 5, 1 is still and 1 has been defeated by the Beast. The Beast has 100% secured at least another 1 brand new play.

Rope-a-dope. I learned it from Muhammad Ali. Lulls you into a false sense of security.

18-24 in games completed and thankfully I've got crap such as AoR 1,2,3 and City Mogul out of the way. From now on we're entering my territory, so keep your gloves on ;)

I think for this doubs challenge an even more interesting format would be to rotate partners :D

CoF/Ice vs Jos/Rock - 4 games
CoF/Rock vs Ice/Jos - 4 games
CoF/Jos vs Ice/Rock - 4 games

12 games in total. We have an individual league table of Won/Lost. For each round we each pick a map and settings which I think would work really well. It allows one partner to 'lead' on his chosen map and 'follow' on the other, whilst they both collaborate on how to play the opposition's two maps.

What do you reckon?

The Beast (though I think Josko misspelled 'The Best') ;)

Josko "The Sheep" only demands games to be sunny as foggy is better environment for The Beast. Lets make format the simplest.

What will say Ice "The Nookie" and loutil "The Shaker"? Anyway judgement was always best received from rockfist "The Scale".

Some good dubs maps, from my perspective:
Kings I and II
Pot Mosbi
WWI Galip
Spanish Armada
Baltic Crusade
Conquer Rome -one of the best maps on CC
USA, France and World 2.1
WWII Australia
Eurasia
Napoleonic Europe
Trafalgar
Third Crusade
Europe 1914
Super Max Prison Riot

They are "ick" because they are larger/more complex maps that are tactically interesting?

As for Nookie:
Nookie - A slang for Sexual Intercourse.
"I did it all for the Nookie." -Limp Bizkit

So... "the Nookie" with "the Sheep" ... ? I'm not sure I want to ask what's being planned for this team.

ā€œIckā€ is debatable and some maps like das or cman or temple of jinn would be appropriateā€¦just saying letā€™s mutually agree to maps that donā€™t have any advantage as a specialty map is allā€¦
Nookie obvi I know the meaning lol just thought it was funny but perhaps for many people here I am their nookie museā€¦
If you have my old avatar pic on your wall bro itā€™s all good no judgment here

Josko is off the naming departmentā€¦

She probably would provide the most appropriate names
