It looks all right. Why did you increase the Bay Area to +6?

Because with 9 territories and 5 borders I believe that it is worth it. Central valley is the exact same structure, but the 3 cities in Central Valley should compensate for it's central location.

Also if you read this what is your opinion on raising the Mojave Desert to +5?

I say, stop quibbling about the fonts -- they're fine. The California map ought to be diverse and unique, like the state itself.

Bison King, you already know my issues with the Nat'l. Parks (mainly Yosemite) but you have decided.

Raising Mojave Desert to +5 bonus is okay by me.

I agree that the Cities are probably too powerful. Maybe you could change it to 3 cities for +1, 4 for +2, 5 for +3, etc.; and/or balance out the City distribution by adding one in Bay Area (San Francisco) and one in Los Angeles (Central).

With all due respect... diversity can be expressed with much better means than cramming umpty-zillion typefaces on a map.

I still think you should try changing the "golden state" text to the same font as the legend. It would give a more uniform look.

It's more like 10 territories and 4 borders, but I think it's still appropriate.

I'm not for it. It's only 6 territories and not particularly central.

I agree, I'm done changing fonts around.

correct again.

hmm, that seems too low, I think I'm going to leave it for now but I might change it if beta testing proves it too powerful.

hmm... I guess I got to go with the Dimwit on this one. Again if Beta testing proves that too weak It can always be changed later.

I capitalized the "S" in state, and added some texture to the border.

At this point I'd like to invite any one who is interested to work on the XML.

2 neutral on the cities, and everything else is straight forward. Thanks a lot! :)

You should touch up the outer border of Needles, Calexico, San Diego, L.A. and part of Santa Barbara.
And the grizzly bear stands out a bit too much imo, but maybe it's just me ;)

There's a way to see 888 on both versions, before VS starts to work on the xml? O:)

Already started working on it :? Almost done, actually, though I assume I'll have to edit the coordinates a bit.

Oh, duh. Okay, I'll get right on it. Did you want anything to distinguish the cities in the XML, like "Eureka (city)"?

EDIT: Okay, I added in the neutrals. So, it's pretty much done now, unless you want me to do the (city) thing or whatever. Probably should check to see if the coordinates are okay. I know I'm jumping the gun and I'll probably have to make changes but I got it done :)

I don't think it's really necessary but it wouldn't hurt. If you want to take the time to add it, it might be worth it.

I'm on it. Just realized I forgot to include the city bonuses. That would've been tragic...

Okay, I think I've got it: http://www.mediafire.com/file/pq6r55i5gprzpgn/Cal.xml

Not sure if "Mediafire" is the best site for file sharing but it was the first thing that popped up in Google.

At a glace it looks good. I only see (city) in the city bonus section. I believe it has to be everywhere. Also do you need to have some sort of "any" stipulation in that section?
