But I mean then the label would be either awkwardly out in the water or invading Campeche or Veracruz.

Also, in his honor, Veracruz state was known as Veracruz-Llave from 1863 to 2004, and since 2004 has been officially known as Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave.

If Veracruz is a problem, you could use "Veracruz" for the port and "Veracruz-Llave" for the territory --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ignacio_de_la_LlaveAlso, in his honor, Veracruz state was known as Veracruz-Llave from 1863 to 2004, and since 2004 has been officially known as Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave.

I echo the congratulations, and endorse the Veracruz-Llave suggestion. It provides for a distinction on the map without resorting to putting the word "Puerto" under every icon as I previously suggested.

Looks like I'll go with that... renaming one of the territories would be my preferred option
Final request from any Mexican CC'ers (or Spanish speakers) - please could you check the map for any spelling errors/mistakes; I'd rather fix them now than when the map is live

"Puerto de", I believe, would be the correct one. "Puerto del" is for when you have a masculine article in front of the noun, though I'm not sure how this works for names entirely.

Beta - Quenching
---The Final Forge period has concluded for the Mexico map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Beta Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for BETA Play. After an extended period of time in BETA and once all quirks and issues have been resolved, the map will be put into Full Play (barring any Lack vetoes).
Conquer Club, enjoy!
