Another lovely map from the master!

- you need to remove the neutral 6 from the map though!

i would actually rather see it as seasonal  only available oct-nov 60 days out of the year... it would be neater and more anticipation for it :)

If it were seasonal, it would be harder for the current tournaments to conclude.

Great map cairnswk. I was completely oblivious to this thread until the map appeared in beta.
This map has a charm and humour that sets it apart from many, perhaps all, other maps.

If it could be worked out in some way, could the map possibly be made seasonal as natewolfman suggests ? Because that would be coolest.

In Suggestions & Bug Reports mode, how about this:
Have one special 'seasonal' map. This map is 're-skinned' according to the season. (Both graphically and in XML territory names.) Hence underlying logic is the same (much like the two existing 'Classic' variants). Hence, even if the season changes the map remains playable thoughout the year - in its chameleon skinned form. This would mean the skin could change even in mid game hence addressing Gilligan's concern.

Oct - Nov : Halloween Hollows.
Dec - Jan : Christmas Chasm.
Feb - Apr : Spring Showers.
May - Jul : Summer Sun.
Aug - Sept : Autumn Leaves.

Yes? No? Shut up and go back to Suggestions & Bug Reports ? ;)
FREE M-E-Mbership and simple rules. Conquer Club - it's not complicated.

i like the christmas one, but the others are kinda lame because they aren't really based on holidays....

you could have easter awakening or something for spring, i have no idea for summer cuz there aren't any worldly accepted holidays during that period, and same wit the autumn leaves one

I love the idea. But Feb-Sept could be better ideas :)

Like stazn said... And Easter one with eggs, or something. Maybe something beach-related for the summer?

Thank you cicero for taking this topic semi off-topic. ;)

I LOVE the map cairns; just took my first turn on it. It's unfortunate that I haven't gotten a tournament up for it, but maybe I will still be able to.
