Er... does that mean that no more graphical changes will be made? Or will you still be improving it?
Reputation cleared. :) Never let it be said that Team CC don't investigate fairly.
Although they take bloody forever to do it...

Still room for nitpicking in FF...

For instance - the white text at the bottom of the large map is pretty blurry!!

But congrats on your stamps t-o-m... FF is

how about this size for large:
Image

its the same as prevous page image but re-sized, so you may have to refresh.

its around 725px's high, that ok for size? or smaller?

edit:
this would no way be the final image quality, this is done on photobucket so dont comment on quality please...

BUT, what i wasnt sure about was whether i had to have the start of territories and the end as tags like:
<territories>
TERITS HERE
</territories>
and the same with conts.
because i didnt do that. i just did the terits and the conts - thats all - is that it?

also, coordinates are just "===========" as i will do them later when i have the final size for large.

What happened to this...i was waiting to see a possible colour change on the legend. Have you decided against it now that it has been stamped.

the image above cannot be the large map. It is too blurry. I suspect you did not originally design this at a proper resolution? Sorry to say, but it needs to be designed at the proper quality for both large and small.

yup, i ran it through the tester and i had missed out 2 terits! but i fixed that now.
when i do the update for cairns, ill take the numbers off and ill show everyone the coordinates - they're done.

they're all quite good - BUT i think most of them on the small are about 1 px too high.
havnt checked large yet.

i have a question though,

when i make the large, will i be making the army circles bigger aswel? or will they stay the same at 22px?
or does it not matter?

edit:
ill also get rid of that annoying little terit line overlap around the diana region going into sofia...it annoys me :P

Army circles can get bigger or stay the same...

The army numbers themselves do NOT increase in size.

t-o-m...small is usually 22, large is usually 24, but i have moved to making them all 22 on both versions...easier to centre. :) Up to you. As you can see, depends on the graphics, circles are different from houses/boxes.

I still have my concerns about the legend - I don't think it looks right.

I'm not sure it's just the colour... have a play around and try something different - remember the aim is to improve on what you've got.

I'm not sure if you ever played around with the blending options on the island itself - It still looks a little bit like it's bit stuck onto the sea rather than rising up out of it... ;-)

not in love w/ water texture.

also, mini-map needs to have the bevel or needs to be integrated better into the sign.

 i know what you mean - i did the outer glow however im not too bothered with the way it looks in regards to 'sitting on top' i quite like it.

i think the minimap fits in w/ the sign fine...it has a beveled texture on it.

fair enough.

the line divisions in the mini-map are noticeably jagged then.

Also, the title of the map looks better in your sig than it does in the map itself. Is this something you were planning on changing?

oh i see now, what would you suggest?
snapdoodle wrote:Also, the title of the map looks better in your sig than it does in the map itself. Is this something you were planning on changing?

yes, i see that also now :D my monitor at home is little better than...shit.
so now i can see things better - i think i could darken it a bit, ill try a bevel. There is too much bevel on my sig - and its all pixely.

ill have a play, but i want to get the legend things out of the way (darker and lighter?)
(the legend backgrounds.)

softer and/or fatter brush for lines.

your sig being pixely is a result of the animation and not the design.

If you create an image out of the single frame you will see the resolution is improved.

It may be too beveled for your taste but I just wanted to point out that even the "over-designed" version here is much better than the plain text there now. I actually think it looks good in your sig but probably will clash with the bevel of the legend.

In any case, consider adding some flavor to the map title.

actually it was pixely on the document when making it - its only because i have way too much bevel on it.
