Needed it for years. dead beating players have driven more then 1 player from this site. If we can vote in an option that would help keep players around.......why wouldn't we? Change can be good.

Tx Donelladan! I'm also one of those speed trench 1 vs. 1 players.
Most of the times I play it with 20 round limit. If it comes to the point that further fighting is useless I ask my opponent to drop and end as I do. Some understand and than the game is fast at an end but some ignore my post and I have the choice to dead beat or waste my time for a boring game.

I would apreciate the surrender button for those games.

I support the concede button. Chess has a concede rule. And even board games have a concede move- just knock the board up into the air and storm off.

However, I see this as possible only in two-player games, or when only two players remain in a multiplayer game.

Agree.

I think it would be pretty annoying if a player concedes in game with more that 2 players. It could greatly and unfairly shift the balance of the game

This is the reason why the resign functionality was removed to begin with. For the sake of discussion, let's assume that resigning is never coming back for the case when there are more than two unique active players in the game. (I'm not saying that it is coming back for the case of two players left, rather that this is the only place where there's any real sort of possible compromise.)

Being able to resign in a one to one, trench game would make a lot of sense.

Omg What a good idea !

From the first day on this nice site, i regreat the Resign bouton.. It s very penible to play a lost game and i am sure the community will enjoy that like me.
All day i have to play on 5 or 10 lost or won game and that one of the reason i won t be premium in the next month:
I dont have time to looose !

Please Give Us that Button ! Give Us Conquer Club 2.0 !

I will make some publicity to that button even tough i'am not premium anymore...
Thank you Don' for that

I agree....surrender button would be great in all games....but especially trench games as some of them can drag on for multiple rounds even though it is obvious who is going to win (IE USA 2.1 trench games).

I'm all in favour of a surrender/resign/forfeit button. I fully endorse Donelladen's suggestion. I hope this time it's approved. So much time is wasted having to continue playing a game when you know perfectly well you haven't a snowball's chance of winning especially in 2 player trench games.

Absolutely, no reason at all we cant have a button in 1 vs 1, or poly.

Right now I have lost a poly 4 trench game on a large map. Let me tell you it sucks just having to log in, drop and end to end this stupid thing.

agree with this motion! For 1vs1 and poly, it would be a great thing for new freemium player and for trench poly players.
