Poison rome is a dice game, and it looks like we are getting the short end of it.

Others are hide and seek games

I personally haven't had active CL7 games in a longgg time, and I don't think FALL has any active left there. So while you guys play out those games, I'm left to day dream until the winner, 2nd 3rd place is established

Hi Guys - Looks like a very very close CL7 is coming to a close here. Down to two games - Poison Rome (where LHDD seems to have a +1 drop this last turn) and New Zealand where Tofu has the tert count. Curious though, in NZ, an LHDD team member mentioned GG? Was this a typo?
So Beitko, by your logic, then with Tofu with 2 in the bag (on top of the 2 wins already) then Fallen is the winner? It feels very strange to win on the backs of another but thanks Tofu if this is the case :) Great cliff hanger ending here.

No, that s not what I wrote. There are 5 games left, we need to win 3, TOFU has 2 in the bag. With a draw against TOFU we are the league winners.

Regarding NZ, mishalex told us after a horrible turn it was over in our forum, but i guess TOFU didn t get the dice to really put the nail in the couffin

Funny but last year i think the league came down to one game on new zealand FALL vs ACE?

Yeah NZ FALL vs ACE was one of the final games that determined the winner.

Not just one good turn. 2-3 in a row coupled with average to very bad turns for us.

That's true Doc ! I was not expecting that kind of changes in that game. Good battle so far !

It's not an epic comeback at all. You are rolling better than we do in Poison Rome, and we have held +3 bonus for a few turns. You just outroll us. And looks like the same happens in NZ too.

I would call it epic if you outplayed us with escalating quads or unlimited quads doing a very smart move or something, but these games - nah, just regular dice swinging.

dude... a page back we were congratulating fall for the win....

We came back out of nowhere on the 3rd crusade against ret to steal a draw that make us require only a draw in away against tofu to win the league, this was going to be a sure loss in away against you guys and now we have a good chance.
In what world a luck strike removes the epicness of a comeback? An epic comeback by essence requires some luck. Nobody here is pretending that we outplayed you (even if I have no idea of what is happening in these fog games). Mishalex said GG on NZ last week... and the game is back to even. How on earth is that "not an epic comeback at all"?
Helloooo... this is a dice game!

Maybe we'll play again with more on the line for us in CC6. That'd be fun, but first things first, we have to beat RET.

I don't mean we had nothing on the line in CL, but after we lost the away set we had less than you did.

I was hoping the desire to win the game would be enough :( TOFU pride and all that

The desire to win is strong, but of course its not quite the same circumstances and if the dice go against us here, well lets hope we get that over with since we won't quite rage about it like we have in other situations.

basically misha went 8-2 on NZ the other day on his turn. He told us he had a 8v2v6 to break a bonus+autodeploy, lost 0-2 then went 8-0. Not like TOFU is letting itself win or anything, we're on a dice rush. For now, dice that just mean we are back in the game on NZ. On poison rome I think we now have a small advantage as dje told us he had a great turn, whatever that means.

PS: I still don't get dako's point of view. These are TOFU home maps, he is a TOFU leader. Isn't it a bit ironic to complain about the map/settings that are just about dice "unlike" team escalating or team unlimited forts?

Dako is more than likely just sore about dice. We've had some dice issues in important games going back some time. I don't know if they are any worse than what other clans might have had from time to time, but they were real and they came at the worst possible moments. I've been sore about it myself, but its over we are moving forward.

well in the case of poison rome... you guys are not playing for the title anymore so it's not as much of a big deal as if it happened before we won our home games set.
He's just losing a game there... not the league. Oh well, possibly the second place, but not too sure you guys are really running after it...At least from what I read in this thread.

who does?

some wins/defeats aren't as sour or as sweet as others. I wouldn't believe you if you told me dako felt worse losing poison rome rather than seeing teammates lose whichever game that decided that you were not in the race for the league anymore.
