LFAW wrote:I have been informed by more fellow Legionnaires that this apparently counts as a loss when only 1/2 the games were played?

I got in touch with Marvel so he asked me to put my opinion here so here it is.

This was not a full clan war and as such I believe this cannot count as a loss or a victory for either side. I remember from our offsite forum we waited a month for the second half before we finally ruled off the war wasn't to be completed.

My ex-leader, ClockworK in his quote above said 'you guys won' - this was referring to the first half of the games as proven by the next bit
'since you never got back to us about the second half games'

Furthermore to further show this challenge was not complete - 'if you guys decide to commit to a full war'

This does not count as a loss so I do ask Marvel to remove this.

And as joint 'leader' of ++The Legion++ and member of the High council (1 of 2 people) that should give me the right to post this (seeing as you said you needed a leader to come in and say this).

Regards,
LFAW

More info on the thread of that Challenge:
18 AND UNDER CLAN CHALLENGE!! 18 and Unders Vs. The Leigon

So, can any clanmember(s) of the 18 And Under Clan and the ++The Legion++ read above information of LFAW and put in here his/her suggestions and so on?

Many thanks.

As you can see here in bold, these are only our home games, the away games never happened so this cannot count as a loss.

I agree with LFAW.

we put forth the first half of the games. we lost a lot of those. We waited for them to send their games so we could play them. They never did. That war is incomplete. If the 18 and under clan wish to finish then we would be happy to comply.

That should not go down as a loss if it was not complete. Just because they chose not to play half of the games because they were ahead is not a fair way of winning a war...

clockwork's comments were concerning the first half of the war. we were not even an official clan at that time. so at the time we had no recourse for getting them to comply.

the fairest way to decide this is to do the second half games. otherwise we do not recognize the loss since it is not complete...this is an ongoing war for us. the win/loss from the first half can stand as we complete the war. we just need an equal number of second half games.

Both Clan Leaders PM-ed me about the discussion and both agree that they will play the second half.

Yea back in the days some of us abused tournament creation powers. That way games were created by people who could create tourneys, instead of individual teams. It was a clan challenge, but the games were created as tournament games.

I dont recall you playing any of the games. But could you ask some one who did (nester, poo) to confirm these results?

you are mistaken. those games are from yorkiepeter's clan doubles league. jpcloet took it over and can certainly vouch for it. and i believe we've already discussed that those games will not count as challenges since it never finished. and if it did count, the figures would be a mess since we had two teams in that league, the imperial dragoons, and the double dragoons.

Hello Blitzaholic,

Just like in an earlier Post:

David_Wain wrote:The Bushwhackers disbanded a while back so would this challenge still count? if so I will ask one of the original leaders to step forward & confirm, or see if I can't find record of it somewhere.

That will be fine, David_Wain. Let them confirm and find games you played against them. Also GL on finding maybe a record or something.

So if its in your thread, give me names of the original leaders and some pagenumbers, cause your thread has 187 pages :!:

why does it say defeated in red, does that mean a clan defeated another or lost to another?

Yes, you'll notice victories is green and defeated is red.

Maybe is should be "Victories Over:" and "Defeated By:"

Can someone switch the word "defeated" with "losses" so there isn't any confusion. It looks as though 18 and under clan defeated LOD.

I meant in the other thread. How it says:

18 and under clan
victories
-
defeated
- LOD

Instead of defeated, have it say losses. I probably should have posted this in the other thread.

I know, but I don't like the word "losses".
Cause IMO in a "real" battle you fight against the enemy and killed them all. All flags and people are cheering for your victory.
And when you fight and you must surrender (or you all die) you have been defeated by the enemy.

I hope you understand that? If not, I see your next post then :P

I disagree with the clan rules for the ladder, why only one competitive clan per person, they're fighting for a clan not themselves why can't they be in more than one?

EDIT: I think of clans as a country, you can fight for more than one country, so why not more than one clan?
