I don't understand how this is supposed to be implemented into the current system. Not all maps would support the game mode, so it means we would need another section exclusively for the maps that do. A scenario that will just lead to clutter and/or confusion in my opinion.

And what's with the sudden desire to have neutrals clogging up a map? I think it's a rather ridiculous concept since neutrals have a tendancy to hinder gameplay, not improve it. I can only see this sort of thing ending up in build up games, because A) people don't want to take on neutrals until they have large numbers to do so or B) they can't get through all the neutrals because of bad luck with the dice.

Regardless of whether it is implemented or not, I think it would be a very small minority of maps that would use the feature and thus think it's a bit pointless. Just my opinion. :wink:

In order to tell people what maps can be used in Conquest mode, we could have a little CC star (just a thought) beside the name/on the map/somewhere around there. In terms of the neutrals, that is why we could have different numbers of them in different places, such as a lot of ones around the "spawn" place, and two's as you get farther out, and eventually threes.

Hm, I think the 'Conquest' idea would be the easiest for Scenario's...when that XML update gets finished in the next few whiles.

I like the Idea.... But I see what Keyogi Means.... This Can be somewhat overcome by Reducing the Neutrals to 1 per territory.. or in case of Chinese checkers... Having 1's in the triangles and 3's in the Center.. But not enough maps available would take advantage of this... HOWEVER.. it does open up Other Map Ideas For this Game Type
