Should I make a folder into which I put all the xml files in. Is that what you are suggesting? What would the code be then?

I'm in process of getting more xmls.

Upload a couple more XMLs then tell me what the URLs to them are.

Here are the ones for Age of Merchants and Africa

http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/1/21/ ... chants.xml
http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/1/21/ ... Africa.xml

I'm having difficulty uploading. The zip file upload option is not working.

Try this...

Code: Select all
 GM_xmlhttpRequest({method: 'GET',url: 'http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/1/21/1711838/'+mapName+'.xml',headers: {'User-agent': 'Mozilla/4.0 (compatible) Greasemonkey/0.3 BOB' , 'Accept': 'application/xml,text/xml'},onload:

Its WORKING!!!

Man that's satisfying.

Now there's another bug to fix Yeti.

This is working for me only in http://www.thedailyproxy.com. I tried it on 1qcc.com which is my prefered proxy site because its from my country, but it doesn;t work.

Any ideas ? right now I open both sites - look at one and play on the other!

Nice...

Can you not just repeat the steps you did for Dailyproxy for 1qcc?

No, for some odd reason its not working.
The script does not have any mention of the proxy site. The only change from the original script is the change from Index of maps on Conquerclub to the Fileden address.

Only in the manage scripts box I have both dailyproxy and 1qcc. I tried taking out dailyproxy and keeping only 1qcc but it didn't work.

Didn't work.

I must clarify that the Bob menu appears on the page. in fact I can see the three row menu as I type this on 1qcc.com. This was the case even before the change you suggested.

Once the game is opened the larger menu does not appear. The clock counter is there but no stats and no map inspect etc.

OK - goto Tools -> error console

Click the Errors tab - then click clear.

Now re-enter a game...

Then copy what you have in your error console to me.

Whats a GM error? Does it have to do with the website? Do you think it will help if I try alternative websites?

Tools > Options > Security Tab > enable remember passwords. Make sure conquerclub.com is not in the exceptions area. Shouldnt need anything special to do it. If it still wont work for you then I would presume you have the same problem with other sites and you should search the mozilla site for a solution.

If you are talking about the autologin greasemonkey script then I suggest looking for help on a different forum. Firefox auto password 2 click login works great for me, but maybe you want it even faster :)

New Bob script..... Yeti, you are the man!!! Very cool. I no longer have to paste screen shots onto word. Now I can more easily take screen shots of when I lose dice severely, like yesterdays 34 v 14,1 loss I had :) 1/500 games so I guess it was bound to happen one day.

Hi lackattack. I hope all is well with you. I also hope this is the BOB Thread ... I've a question to ask --- On the BOB menu you offer "SnapShots" on the map screen; however, I've found no way to manipulate them even though I've read through the instructions. I don't really understand the Snapshot feature because I can't copy or do anything (that I know of) to make use of it. HELP!
