Not sure whether this is for you or would ned to be addressed by ed, but this is I think the first time we have had a greasemonkey script that has a text entry box....

I was just in a team game writing up my plan and was going to come back later to play my turn after gaining my team's consensus, but I then typed a player name into the Map Rank text box, which unfortunately began my turn as I use Clickable Maps and "b" is a short cut for begin turn.

The Clickable Maps script itself disables the letter shortcuts if the cursor is in the game chat entry box... and ideally this dialog box shoul dbe included in that (not that I think I'll make the same mistake again)


another small thing - if you've lost more than 1000 pts on a map, then the right hand column (next rank) becomes undefined (...and yes I have technically lost over 1200 pts on the Classic map!)

There is a version installed feature now works like Turn Watch.

I've noticed that the Exclamation Mark Triangle stays in the same spot on the screen even as you scroll down the text. Could that be fixed to stay beside the Searching text?

its getting better.

As I ran the script, a few "wcaclimbing has not played any games on ______ map" showed up.
Could you include those in the list, perhaps in a second section at the bottom? I want to know which maps I haven't played yet.

That is pretty darn cool, I have to admit...even though it just proves how much I suck at this game...

There are 4 things I would love to see down the line:
*Processing in the background so that I can keep doing things while it scans. This is probably more important for people with lots of games, slow internet and slow computers. I dunno how you'd do it, but it would be great!
*Time based results - for example, how did I do on British Isles from Jan 2007 to March 2007 and then how did I do from Jan 2008 to March 2008 so I can compare. Or some form of graph for a single map showing the dates of wins/losses or how your points went up and down on that one map.
*What is the ! does that mean it's done? Could you change it to a green tick/check mark because the ! just makes me feel like something went wrong.
*text dump or csv dump so that people can dump to excel and graph things up.

Fantastic response time on new features as well!

What about an option to order stuff, and now you've done map stuff maybe someone out there might do settings ;)

I want to be able to see the ones I've won the least on, ones I've won the most on, ones with the highest net gain, lowest net gain, etc.

It will use the parameters in the game finder to calculate points, win/loss and ranks so you
can for example find how good someone is at Assassin on Classic or 3 player games anything on there pretty much,
have a play around and see.

Holy crap what an amazing little doohickey. Just looking at the map breakdown is incredible, never would've guessed that for my reasonably impressive win %, I've gained a grand total of like 50 points in arms race... :(

Then again, waterloo and middle east and north america, gooood times.

I'm currently throwing my name through every map, and it seems on a lot of the New Recruit maps (less than 5 games played), I get unrealistic win percentages (133%, 150%). I know I've won on all those maps at least once, but not THAT many times. ;)

EDIT: On a further note, maps I have never won on, but Terminated someone on are showing up with a win percentage. Perhaps do a double-check on the code to allow for Terminators?

EDIT: it would be nice to be able to calculate points for a particular team, rather than just my points from dubs matches (basically I'd like to be able to add a name to the search)

On a side note, having dicked around with this beautiful little device on and off all afternoon, I can say that it took some five minutes or so to calculate benjikat's score on waterloo. Holy crap (the score, not the load time).

Yeah, well, I'm probably going to ditch the points calculation as that is taking 99% of the time and replace with something that
is dependent on the winning percentage. I can do this now because you can use the game finder to drill down on the types of games you're
interested in.

For anyone interested in this change:

Remove calculation of rank - it's meaningless anyway. Classic vs Classic you still get a points allocation reflecting total rank not classic rank.
Positives?
Will keep lack happy
Calculation will be noticeably faster.
Will be able to use information from missing logs.

Amongst others.

Well, it's deliberately in tabular format, so cut and paste the table straight into Excel.
(Just tried it to confirm).
