But, I support a surrender button although it does need alot of refining, I've been foed and rated badly these days when I'm needed, I do realise that I should plan my speed games better but besides the point is that a surrender button should come with heavy penalty.

 :
When someone clicks the resign button, it must be approved by all players.

The bolded part is a good point. A surrender button would be helpful if done properly. Perhaps not allowing surrendering in 2 or maybe 3 player games. Perhaps make the button situation sensitive, so if the person resign's when losing, they lose point still, but if they resign when winning they lose nothing, but i doubt xml will allow this. Also, putting a restriction on when you can resign. Maybe after 2-3 turns so it wouldn't be to conveinient for farmers who are persistent enough to make 4 or 5 player games with multi's.

Oh robin, women are not supposed to be tough, they are supposed to be delicate and girly. :D

Back on topic. There would need to be some sort of modification to assasin games if there was a surrender button, either not have it, or make it so that the player is kicked out and the person who has him just changes targets. Even this can be abused though. Suppose the person who has you is someone you don't like. They are about to take you out, so you surrender and then they change targets. Either choice is terrible, only good option is no surrender button for assasin games.

so, how is that helpful in a 1v1 game, where someone is controlling both accounts playing? horrible idea, wonderful chances for new mega-levels of abuse...-0

Why is it, when Robin makes a post, I want to wave my underwear in the air and surrender?

That depends where the surrender button is located, if it's on a woman then of course I'd press it!

But if located on the sidebar whilst playing a game on CC, then quite frankly you can get bent! :x

If the surrender option were put into place, it must be approved by all players.

In a game of 1 v 1, you may have to wait a few rounds like the other people said before you can surrender.

Same with the others with 3 and 4 people playing, just incase multis get creative.

I honestly don't know what extremely bad effect about multis getting points has on CC, all it does it get your rank up...

Seriously, a surrender button is never going to happen.

Thread must be getting locked soon surely.

I'm suprised that no one has mentioned that we used to have a surrender button, but it got abused so it went away.
FOREVER.

Twas already mentioned, but it is good to emphasize the point because it shows pretty clearly that this button won't be "added" since it already existed and was removed.

The only reason I would favor a surrender button would to be for people who join and then have to leave. (it would keep the player from wasting 3 days worth of the other players' time.)
