Was Classic your first love?

I still play shapes. I took me a while to find china and siberia, but once I did its like playing the old map agian.

Classic shapes is fine for trips (probably because I didn't start trips until around the change) but I haven't played a singles on it since classic disappeared.

As a singles playing chap whose first love was classic, this was indeed a blow.

I'm curious to know exactly what it was about the Classic map that you fell in love with...

In truth, it was the reason I came to this site, because I did a search for a particular game I had played before and .. voila. However, I like strategy board games in general. What kept me here was the variety.

In short, had I known all these other maps existed, I would have come for them (though there far, far fewer when I started here!). I did not, so ... I came for Classic,then expanded.

Classic was just another one night stand. Nothing special really and a horrible lay. More of a hit it and forget it type of thing for me, although reading the rest of these tales of woe it sounds as if she was a real man eater. Looking back all I can do is laugh about how incredibly easy it was to get the skins. Upon reflection, I should be more concerned about what I might have picked up rather than reveling in my complacency...

It all started at a night club called the Badonka Dunk. You see, I saw her from across the room through the smoke and crowds of people. Something about her curves and those forty two contiguous body parts caught my eye. I went up to the bar and ordered a Tequila Sunrise for her and The Three Wisemen for me. I was trashed looking like Regis and a million bucks(minus the million bucks). But my game was right. I walked up handing her the drink and said, "you dance like your Kamchatka's good". She giggled and accepted the drink. It was smooth sailing from here on out. After a quick dance I flirted a little more and asked her, "Damn girl! How do you fit all that Madagasscar in those jeans"?! That sealed the deal and let her know what I was there for. Our inhibitions were nowhere to be found.

Next thing you know my bed frame was broke and I ruined a good pair of sheets.
