intenional turn missing. [Answered]

Postby bugzbunny on Sat Jun 20, 2009 7:30 am

i scanned over the rules and cant find if this is against the rules. the guy was online and did not take his turn, he even commented that i would have to wait the full time to take my next turn.

i was winning so he did this.

is this against the rules and should i report him?

It is a tactic some people use, particularly in freestyle. In freestyle, it can have tactical advantages, though it doesn't sound like that is the case.

However, in Sequential, and if they guy is really just doing it because you are winning, then you can give him a bad rating and put him on your foe list. (sore loser might be an appropriate tag ...)

There's not much more I can say at the moment on this matter.

I don't get this. If this was a real life game played around a table then you wouldn't be allowed to skip a turn when you were sitting there, so surely intentionally missing a turn is against the spirit of the game.

I completely agree. However, it doesn't fall under "breaking the rules". It's just a dick move.

Like others have said, rate your opponent accordingly and move on. There are much nicer players out there. I'd foe this one if I were you.
