Inheriting kicked out partners territories on team games

Postby greengo on Wed Jul 01, 2009 11:09 pm

Folks:

Im finding myself on the losing side of some team games. It seems that something changed that allows one partner to inherit a kicked out partner's (lets say, for missing three turns) territories. It changes the dynamic immediately. It never used to do this. It may save that team from losing who had their teammate bail, but it gives them a united edge on taking continents, strategy, etc...

Anyone else pissed off at this change?

That has always been the case in team games. If a partner deadbeats, you get their troops. Not really an advantage if the other team knows what they are doing because you have to go 3 turns without getting any troops. I'm not sure why you think this is something new.....

you get no warning if the player was kicked out for breaking the rules... and that is a new change.

As I understand things, the answer to your questions is the same...the next player in the list on that team. So if the first player on the team was kicked out, the next player in the list gets the troops.
