here, basically it's the same, but castles are more impotant and a +2 for holding the sanctuary.
The best starting position is aoria, cuz you are directly connected to a port which happens to be a village. you get 13 at the start. Aim for the opposing castles. Take them out! Here, games end very quickly, just a few rounds. And the basic rule is: DONT ATTACK ON THE FIRST TURN NO MATTER WHAT! get a port, you will get 15 troops, then, if you are confident, deploy and go. Here, you can leave troops on territs and there is no decay. good
Don't bother about resource pairs and all that stuff here, if you do that, you'l soften your troops. For example, you have 16 troops on aoria and take the resource pair in the region, you are left with 5 troops, and you reinforce it to aoria. Your opponent gets 13 troops, Gets to the port, Rhit, Aoria, and basically, you're doomed. Like I told you before, aim for castles and ports, everything else will soften u up for ur enemy.
Another reason not to do that: Most of the territs here, have more nuetrals at the start than aor2. For example: Timber mill has 2 nuetrals at the start in aor2, but it has 5 nuetrals in aor1.
That's basically all you need to know, hope this guide has helped you. this is the link to my aor2 guide:
