Multi?

Postby Rakio on Fri Jul 10, 2009 1:48 pm

Hey!

Im new here and just got a premium deal recently too :)
Now my girlfriend have started to play as well.
Yesterday, she logged in with her acc from the same PC/IP Im using.

I am wondering if that is an issue of multing?

We dont share any games or so. But could we?

If not regular games where you get points etc is it possible to play without points involved?

I dont know if private games include points.
Also if doing regular games vs other people, no illegal teaming would occur obviously, unless team games ^^

Please clarfiy the rules for me.
We both want to play here. Would be nice if we could play against each other too.

I have read the rules. But Im not sure how exactly CC detects multis. Is it purely technical? Ie looking into IPs and scoring? Or do they actually investigate the actual games and players involved?

You are both allowed to have accounts and also allowed to play games with each other. Be aware that if you play a lot of three player games (with yourself and your wife and a third player) and you happen to win exactly 50% each then some paranoid mod like Night Strike will get suspicious and try to ban you. You'll have no serious opportunity to appeal and probably end creating multis on purpose to irritate him. Then he'll hang you repetedly. If that happens 30 times or more then you'll be hung one final time and probably be hailed as a hero by screaming crowds. The hype will last for about a week and then people will forget about you. If you're lucky we'll make a film about you. Sorry got a bit off topic there. I'm feeling destructive for some reason.

Cheers,
Rhoquette.

You could have sent in an e-ticket stating your situation that would provide accountability on your part, via the "Help" section. What WILL be of concern, is the fact that if indeed you two share the same computer; you are in a game with her but as an opponent with several other players...it would be very easy to put you under a microscope and ensure that you were in no way favoring your girlfriend. Thus, when you are playing in the same game as her AS an opponent, do not treat her any differently than any other players. Don't worry, you can make it up to her in many other ways, I'm sure. ;) Good luck to the both of you.

"About the rules

13. Can more than one person play from the same computer?

The short answer is yes. Our Multi Hunters are pretty good at distinguishing roommates & family members from people with multiple accounts. However, some members prefer playing only in team games with people from the same computer to avoid accusations of cheating.
"

I did not get the last part of that quote from Help.

But would team games, where we both are in the same team be okey then?
And private 1v1 games?

Whats an e-ticket?

I guess all is fair as long as we play fair against other people.

E-ticket can be found at the bottom of this link once you've clicked it: http://www.conquerclub.com/eticket/index.php

Team games - yes.
Private games - probably not, only for the main reason that you had already previously mentioned that the computer was shared.

Also, if you both buy premium, it will dispell a lot of accusations b/c most people do not buy premium for their multies.
