Age of Realm 3 - Question

Postby HardAttack on Sun Jul 12, 2009 11:15 am

Hello fellows,
Somehow i am confused with bonuses in that map and any TRUE (CERTAIN-SURE) answer will be definitely appreciated.

Q1/ Aoria : Humans get a +2 bonus for holding their realm << this is what there writes in bonus part of the map
What exactly this means ? Is it two sword shapes to be held to get that +2 or whole 9 territs which belong to Aoria ?
What is holding realm for human ? Is it holding the both swords only or whatelse ?

If the Q1 gets a proper answer, i believe i will make good on other bonuses and will be able to get how it works.
Thanks.

I am pretty sure it means that if you hold all of the territories in Aoria.

Yeah this confused the hell out of me for a while as well, but Gilligan is right. When it names the "race" of the land it is merely stating what the bonuses are for that particular region.

I've never understood this....if you hold the entire realm, then you're getting a ton from the rune bonuses anyways. That little +2 is barely even noticeable....

The thing with those little bonuses is in fog games they help people who study the game logs determine where their opponents are.

But i almost never bother getting the entire thing anyways. The only help from those you get are if they are getting -1s or not, usually.

But was that the original intention of the mapmaker, or is that just its effective use?

I can't say with 100% certainty but I have to imagine they made them all slightly different so that someone with the patients and time to study the logs would gain an advantage.

actually if you study the log you can pin point every location not just the -1. some are harder than others but if you watch how the attacks take place you can read through the fog no matter what territory someone is on.....or thats my guess im not really any good at that map so how would i know.
