Question about Unique Kills

Sorry, I should know this by now.

Setup: I'm currently working on my trips & quads medals. My team defeats a group of 3 players in trips, and then later that same group of three joins one of my quads games, where my team also defeats them and a fourth player.

Question: Does this count as 4 unique kills towards my quads medal because I had not yet defeated those 3 players in a quads match, or do I only get 1 unique kill counted towards my quad acheivement?

You can count all 3 players for a quads and a triples. Yes they count both times, plus the added 4th.
