Naval Superiority in Eastern Hemisphere

Postby ender516 on Fri Jul 24, 2009 8:31 pm

The legend regarding this position states that it "cannot reinforce out". Naturally, since it only bombards, the territories it attacks are not conquered but merely neutralized. But if I neutralize a territory without running my troops down to one on Naval Superiority, then conquer that neutralized territory from somewhere else, when I end attacks, I can reinforce that territory from Naval Superiority, can I not? And reinforce through Nav.Sup. from the European power(s) that I hold, and from any other properly connected territory? (I understand the limits of the various types of reinforcements, but I always play unlimited.)

No you cannot fort out of that terrie, at all. You may just as well continue bombarding just for the hell of it because all troops remaining will be lost.

Interesting. So in general, you cannot fortify along bombardment routes, just normal attack routes?

If you cannot take over the territory, then you cannot move your armies there. Bombarments attack, but you never really conquer. No troops therefore move.

But if, as I asked originally, I have taken over the territory by another means, can I reinforce (not advance) from a bombarding territory? Sorry if I am being a bit thick here.
