Map rank problems

ok my map rank says that i am a major, and all my stats say i am major. why am i lieutenant then? any help

Map rank has to do with your score on just specific maps. Your actual score is based on all maps you play, ever.

Could be:
Have you checked you have not got any boxes ticked apart from your name? You might be a major in certain game types.
Map rank is missing a number of game records - maybe in your case they were all losses and without them you'd be a major.
