Favourite Quads Maps

Postby Tupence on Wed Aug 26, 2009 9:58 pm

I sense this thread may be more appropriately placed in the Tournaments Q&A forum, but noone really visits there and this is also quite a general thread.

In the near future I shall be starting a tournament for quads teams to enter, but I'm not sure which maps will be involved, so I'd like some suggestions.

Which maps do you prefer to play quads on? The same maps will also be used for singles and doubles games, so if the maps are good for those too then that's a bonus.

Thanks in advance for all your opinions!

Pearl Harbor & Prison Riot, though WWII Europe is a good one as well. If you have good teammates, D-Day can be good, too.

WWII Europe is a great map for Quads-they have 110 territories, and many bonuses, who is not to much big. Also map is not to much complicated and its very good to understand.

The few Quads games I played was on Ancient Greece for the Olympics Tournament---it turned out a couple of pretty good games.

Iberia, Soviet Union, USA Senate, Classic(both), Solar system, and Texas Wars. I've found all the afore mentioned maps to be fun as quads, france can be good as well, just maybe a bit to small.

Hm, perhaps I'll have to play a couple more quads games now...it is one game type that I haven't really tried to play.
