tdans wrote:When i came onto CC i was amazed at what i could do and the different tactics one could use.... i played and played a ton of rt games.... i then was given preemium. I purposed that i was gonna get colonel and after that brig.. i obtained my goals and i became so consumed by rank that i couldnt bear to lose. This went on for several months... and as time went on i got more disgruntle and annoyed at people in general.. if i lost a game i fumed and got really grumpy... well i had an enlightening moment when i was playing and realized that there is more to life than this game.... i had problems getting along with my family cause i was on the computer and when i was off it.. i was a pain cause i didnt want to get off. When i realized the amount of time i had wasted on this game... i tried to find some reason why it benefited me to be on so long doing absolutely nothing on this site... yea sure i learned some tactics .. but what will it benefit me in 20 years???? Its not worth it!!! to walk around all day thinking about some game... you have a life to live... go get a jobgo do something productive...... im not saying dont play.. i still play for a hour.. sometimes even longer... but dont let this game or any game make itself more important than life itself .. It amazes me when i go out and see people who dont know how to do basic things cause they spend every waking moment playing a game
..... i just wrote this to remind yall of the importance of your time... once you use that time.. you cant get it back, so use it wisely.
