word to the wise

Postby tdans on Sat Sep 05, 2009 10:51 pm

When i came onto CC i was amazed at what i could do and the different tactics one could use.... i played and played a ton of rt games.... i then was given preemium. I purposed that i was gonna get colonel and after that brig.. i obtained my goals and i became so consumed by rank that i couldnt bear to lose. This went on for several months... and as time went on i got more disgruntle and annoyed at people in general.. if i lost a game i fumed and got really grumpy... well i had an enlightening moment when i was playing and realized that there is more to life than this game.... i had problems getting along with my family cause i was on the computer and when i was off it.. i was a pain cause i didnt want to get off. When i realized the amount of time i had wasted on this game... i tried to find some reason why it benefited me to be on so long doing absolutely nothing on this site... yea sure i learned some tactics .. but what will it benefit me in 20 years???? Its not worth it!!! to walk around all day thinking about some game... you have a life to live... go get a job :P go do something productive...... im not saying dont play.. i still play for a hour.. sometimes even longer... but dont let this game or any game make itself more important than life itself .. It amazes me when i go out and see people who dont know how to do basic things cause they spend every waking moment playing a game :(..... i just wrote this to remind yall of the importance of your time... once you use that time.. you cant get it back, so use it wisely.

Meet yall out on the battle field

Very wise words superT!! Especially for someone in the prime of their youth. But you know this does exercise the mind and you do have interaction with other mouth breathers. A lot more than the T.V. See you as a Brig again m8. Kick arse!

4700 games played in a year on the site, I'm glad you've decided to tone it down a bit.

This is the beauty of being a free hat. There's enough on this site to keep me entertained when I'm bored, but there's not nearly enough to keep me on it more than I intended!

Until you achieve more self-control, you should probably avoid alcohol, narcotics, cheap women, and double fudge brownies. I'm just saying.

By all means -- because expensive women are not addictive.

This is your major problem! Alcohol, drugs, cheap women [mmmmm] and double fudge w/ marijuana brownies are great in keeping you away from C.C. and other cyber-internet addictions you may have.

Now go and have a beer, smoke a joint, eat some brownies and go to a local Greyhound bus stop area and look for girls!
