I have been a "member" of Conquer Club for about a year now and just recently I can say I've become addicted to it. Lol.. Well as I've played more and more I have become more active in rating my opponents and trying to analyze their performance to give them as accurate a rating as possible. Two things I wanted to go over with the rating system: First, the "fairplay" rating. Now I can understand a fairness rating being needed in say a team match or whatnot but I, for the most part only play head to head. Mostly so the games go quicker. When playing head to head games, I find it irrelevant for a fairness rating. If the player was kind, quick, and played well I generally give them 5 stars. If the player had a poor attitude, was slow, or played poorly I tend to just leave the "fairplay" rating blank. I just don't see how somebody could be given say, 2 stars for instance. I mean how can someone be below average in fairness unless they had some sort of cheat code or something... And secondly, the gameplay rating. I think I'm looking more for an opinion on this then anything but like I said I try to be as accurate as possible when rating my opponents. So with that said i find it difficult to give anything other than 5 stars most of the time because to be accurate u need to remember what territories were dispursed from the onset of the game. Were they evenly dispursed? Through the random territory dispursion was an opponent given an entire territory therefore started with more troops to deploy then they're opponent? You all get my drift. So normally I don't remember all those things because I am often playing 4 games at once. If I was beaten, my opponent was kind, and played well with a fair, random draw from the star of the game I give them 5 stars.. But normally I leave this rating blank, especially if I won. Say I play an opponent who is very friendly and I give them 5 stars on fairplay and attitude but I won the match, I generally leave the gameplay rating blank.. Because I don't want to drop that opponents overall rating and I feel the gameplay rating is based on how well that opponent played the match. So in losing I find it much easier to rate a players gameplay rather than in winning.
