does deadbeating keep you from dropping in percentage of win

Postby mrfriendly on Wed Oct 07, 2009 8:59 pm

I am curious if deadbeating and getting kicked out of a game affects your win percentage. I have checked several people's games and the games they were kicked out of does not seem to affect their win percentage. if they played 10 games and won 3 and lost 3 but were kicked out of 4 they still show a 50% win ratio!
If so this gives them incentive to get kicked out before losing and should be changed.

This was one person I am trying to figure out his strategy . He missed three turns even though he was online at least 3 times each day. Also he has an exceptional win ratio considering he only took 90% of his turns. I did not count his win/ loses to figure out if games he was kicked out of count or not. thanks

I'm pretty sure that deadbeating out still counts as a loss in terms of win percentage. Do you have a link to show who you're talking about?

I agree. It would be helpful if you gave a link.

Could it be that the games they deadbeated out of haven't finished yet? Otherwise, it should show as a loss in their win percentage.

If you deadbeat from a game, it will guarantee that you lose (unless it's a team game and your partners can cope with your loss).

Pretty sure that'll be the case. Speaking from experience they definitely counted for me.
