To start with, you're not getting too much of a biased drop on Feudal, and when the game initiates, the n00b can feel free to attack at will, conquer territories (woop, conquering, that's what the n00b is here for

) and not have anything too disastrous happen, too quickly. That's my reasoning as to why Feudal seems like such an attractive map to n00bs, because of the fact it's easily started, played, and continued later. However, the fact there is an underlying master strategy to victory on this map is why you will rarely see a n00b emerge with a points gain from such a game.
However, when a n00b loses on Feudal, you'll rarely see them disheartened, and the fact they know the basics on a playable map gives them the confidence to pursue a CC career.
I can see the fun value going down for n00bs if this was placed on the block list, but, of course, if you're targetting farming over fun, then I see no reason why lack and team would not block this map. Merely because some players (who can be easily punished in any case) take advantage of the
?s, doesn't mean the fun value should be ruined for the ?s who would most likely enjoy a good game of Feudal. There is a reason why this map wasn't blocked in the first place --
because n00bs enjoy playing it!
As I say, on the face of it, Feudal is very decieving. It looks easy, and the concept would appear simple to the new players. No doubt lies in my mind that the n00bs enjoy playing, but the fact farming prevails unfortunately means Feudal may be blocked from their join list.
