Seems CC mods in "error" kicked, stripped and offended a very talented map maker. This individual makes maps for us, the CC customer, to play. They reinstated him and all they had to say was "oops - sorry". Now he plans on leaving and not finishing a great map thats almost ready.

It is sad to see someone as bright as Kabanellas leave the site. But The hunters had their reasons or suspicions and it turned out to be a wrong one and the decision was overturned and he was given his premium back, while we may not agree with how the process works..it does work, unfortunately some innocents get caught up in the middle once in awhile. I am sorry for him and sad to see such a great potential leave. I hope he will change his mind and stay and become one of the greatest map makers ever on our site! Hopefully he forgives and tries to forget, and while I know most of you are on his side there is no need to get yourselves banned over causing trouble in the foundry or in general discussions forums (or any other for that matter). Instead of criticizing team cc why not make suggestions to better us in sugs and bugs forum? Put your "anger" to better use guys.

Here's a sugg. CC go kiss his butt and try to make things right instead of just saying "sorry to see you go" and threating the rest of us customers with bans if we complain.

Kabanellas has my sympathies, but no one is forcing him to leave. It's his decision. What's the big deal? He got his premium back, got the charges cleared. No need to be so butthurt about it.

Let's say the police arrests you, and suspects you of a crime. Then when they interrogate you it turns out they were wrong, so they apologize and let you leave. Do you then quit your job and move to another country because you are pissed off to the police of your country for suspecting you, even though there are people in your country that depend on you doing your job?

I know I wouldn't. I would think that the police are just doing their jobs, they are humans like everyone else and can make mistakes. I'd just be happy that they are enforcing the law, so that no one can rob my home and get away with... I wouldn't take the arrest personally, and then take it out on my country by quitting my job and leaving...

If you are upset about this, try and talk to Kabanellas to convince him to stay. It's unfortunate that mistakes like this happen from time to time, but the decision was reversed and everything about the account was restored. It's an inconvenience, but that has been fixed now. Antagonizing the hunters who volunteer for this site won't do anyone any good.

there was NO threatening of any bans, I merely stated that NOT following the rules could possibly lead to a ban. Do not mix my words nor put words in my mouth jefjef! if you are so "threatened" by my statement then perhaps you are taking things too close to heart, considering this particular case had nothing to do with you? I don't see that you were blocked, or busted, or stripped of your premium?......

I think team CC does a great job and hope that this accident doesnt pull back the reins on the players that do deserve bans.

Well the same thing did happen to me by "mistake". But anyway I am only trying to encourage CC to attempt to retain this talented map maker. This site is about games and maps unless I'm mistaken.

I see he has decided to stay. That's good.

I think the hunters do a good job, but when an accident happens, I think they need to do a little something extra for that player, regardless of how much he's given to the community. I think that if you strip someone and inconvenience them, instead of "whoops, sorry, you're restored, hope you stay", you should give them an extra year, show that you do feel sorry. A restoration doesn't do much when someone feels slighted. You've got to do a little extra.

It's not like CC can't afford it. And honestly, how often does this happen? This is only the second situation I'm aware of.

i would agree that the hunters are all volunteers remember that and also they are doing a lot of work protecting us. and there will always people that are incent you end up getting the blame in real life and on this site its a fact of life. keep up the good work mods

I whole-heartedly agree with this.

Just think about all the things that the multi-hunters do behind the scenes. Just recently three New Recruits had joined one of my games, and they're all doing much better than me. Unsurprisingly one was busted, yet I nor anyone else had reported it. They're humans: they make mistakes. Everyone does. Perhaps they could have added some extra time onto Kabanellas' Premium. But even if they did, a thread similar to this one would still have been made and more demands would have been brought forth.

Finally, jefjef, I wasn't here at the time but I see you consistently still moaning about this incident that you had with the the moderation team. Why don't you just let it drop? It's done, been dealt with and is now in the past. Nothing is going to change in regards to it so shut up about the whole situation. Honestly, I'm sure many others get sick of your constant moaning.

I agree with this statement. Absolutely.

Yes we are human and make mistakes. And we also respond to mistakes as humans.

I think this is a pretty good idea, and it's probably something that jefjef was hoping to see. Repairing the account to the original state isn't really fair, since an incorrectly busted player goes through a lot of trouble and work, and gets looked down upon by the community. They may end up missing a few games, may miss tournaments or be interrupted from other aspects of the site that cannot be easily fixed.

So maybe reparations of some sort would be in order - perhaps 3 months free premium added onto the existing account if a player was accidentally/wrongfully busted and then the case was overturned? I won't worry about the details, but if someone wanted to draft up a proposal to make reparations for Team CC mistakes, I would likely support that suggestion.
