How come deferred troop placement goes all at once?

Postby Astro-Boy on Fri Jan 01, 2010 2:57 pm

Missed a few turns due to holidays. How come deferred troop placement gives you only a territory drop down and not a number drop down too? It means you have to drop your entire deferred allotment in one go, on a single territory.

Is there a reason it's like that? Or is that just the way it is?

I guess the reason is so that it would not give unfair advantage in chained and adjacent games. In unlimited games, you can just move those troops however you wish anyway.

That's only true if your territories are in a contiguous block. If you want to reinforce two separate areas you can't do it, even in unlimited games.

But if it's to avoid an advantage, very well.

That is true, but if you're worried about it, you shouldn't miss turns ;)
