Player booted for Rules Violation

Postby Blzbba on Tue Oct 27, 2009 9:42 am

I'm not new to ConquerClub but this is the first I've ever seen this occur:

Game 5798630

Guy takes a turn and gets booted for Rules Violation. I'm just trying to figure out "Why", so I don't have the same thing happen to me. But seriously- I can't tell what the player did to deserve das boot. Any help?

Way to not really answer the question.

Odds are, he created multiple accounts. That is what most of the rules violations are, especially ones that result in immediately being kicked from games.

Question: does CC have the ability to track a users IP address to determin if a player is using two accounts in the same game? because if two differant email addresses are used to create two accounts how could CC even know? they must trace ip addresses. if this guy does have two accounts then he is a fool. "just ask your mom to buy you a membership!"

CC doesn't give much information on how they figure out who multis are. It's much more in-depth than just IP address though, since that is very easy to change.

I am playing a game where a player has missed 6 turnes and has not been booted for missing turns! i am a bit stunned. ither he is hacking the game somehow or it is a glitch, the odd thing is that there have been other players in this same game who have been booted after the regular 3 missed, turns but this guy has missed 6 so far... it is worth looking into. his name is: pacomanke
and the game #6001679

A player must miss 3 turns in a row to get the boot out of a game.
He never missed more than 2 in a row.
Sucks for the guys who play with him but not a violation or a hack.

You only get booted if you miss three consecutive turns.

And it looks like I got fastposted.
