secret diplomacy

Postby mike.clarke862 on Mon May 24, 2010 11:59 am

If I think that one or more players are engaged in secret diplomacy, but have no proof, can I do anything about it?

Specifically, if two players appear to be working together in a game without saying anything in the chat box (one player placed large armies, which protected another player's 1 army continent and did not attack the player, who held half the board but did not have enough armies to keep it) can I report these players for secret diplomacy? How concrete does proof need to be in order to report someone? Can I get in trouble for filing a false report? I would appreciate it if someone who knows more about this can fill me in.

try looking back in there history. if they play a lot of games together you might want to take a look at how they played those games. the trick is to always get 3 games to back your claim.

What targetman said is a good point. If they have played more togehter on this tactic you can clearly report them. If you have only 1 game to proofe it then it will probably go as this.

Players are noted and foe and rate accordingly.

Also look at the ranks I dont know what game ya talking about, but cooks can play really bad.

If you decide to make a complaint try to have as much proof as you can. Look at the players history together and check previous games. Remember you are the one in the game so be specific as to why you think they are involved in secret diplomacy.

Also just because someone doesn't make the moves that you think they should doesn't mean it is secret diplomacy. Sometimes it isn't in your best interest to break someones bonus.
