Unfoeing people. [Poll]

Postby The Neon Peon on Mon Oct 26, 2009 8:13 pm

Do you ever unfoe people?

Personally, I never do. (with the exception of the two instances where I foed 6000 people at once and 9786 people at once.) I think that if I found them to be unpleasant to play with in the past, it's not worth the risk to have that happen in another game. There are plenty of people that have not done anything to me yet, I'd rather play them.

I'm just interested about what other people think. I've received several PMs in the past few days asking me to unfoe some people, so obviously many don't share my point of view.

I will do it for a tournament necessity (to avoid my having to drop out of it), and that's the only reason.

Considering I only have like 5 people foed, no, I never unfoe them and I never will.

Some people have to "un-foe" temporarily for tournament games.

If they ask politely then I usually do. Or if a friend asks me to/vouches for them. Or if someone seems to be nice, then I think that I might have made a mistake, or they may have changed.

I unfoe really bad players when they get better. Sometimes I unfoe players when they ask because they're in the same tournament as me, but otherwise not usually.

if you suck, your foed...
if once i warn you about how much you suck and you still suck, your foed...
if your a loudmouth nobody, your foed..
Occassionaly if you piss off people i know, your foed..

generally people that piss me off are foed, and then unless i have to unfoe them ( tournament purposes ) they will never leave the list, however once i did accidentally delete half my list.

Foe'd.

And generally, I keep my foe list empty. A few assholes make it on, but not many.

I only have 3 foes, and even then, I have a lot of foes. :/. Sometimes, I just make perhaps 2 mistakes in 2 games and i get foed by a friend whom i've been hanging out with for 3 months... Generally, I don't foe a lot of people. Only when they start to get a bit on the rude and vulgar side, or they say something which pisses me off

aw...c'mon. that's un-sportman-like. You should let the lower ranks get bashe ... i mean let them play
lol. But really... foeing everyone below 1000 points seems a bit extreme to me

The only problem with that policy is that many of those won't STAY under 1000...some rise significantly higher, even. But you've still got them foed.

A good point indeed. However, when they feel they are able to articulate a decent request then they should do so. This doesn't mean, of course, that one should unfoe them. Personally, and I make no secret of this, all those who are of junior ranks should be kept down in the dark lower areas so that those of us who have already achieved a high rank can sit in the sun with little concern that some peasant from the lower ranks will somehow rise and try to take us on...and if they do, just keep them on foe to remind them of their true place in the grand scheme of things.

Nah, that's not the problem.

I foed everyone beneath sergeant 1st class (plus about 20 sergeants first class that were on that page of the scoreboard to total 9780 people on my foe.
The only problem with it was that if I ran into a high ranked ****** I could never foe them because the foe list kept timing out. (to foe the 10k people, I used my friend's computer after I got them all into an excel list, so I could copy and paste them all into the foe in one go).
