Killed personal hope for CC

Since several have noted that I've been QUITE verbal about my discontent with CC moderator practices, I'll try to be pretty verbal about this:

I have info that gives me a new hope for this site's moderator maturity. I'll post parts of the livechat:

It takes a mature person to admit a wrong, so this apology really does give me new hope for CC. I may even consider purchasing premium and getting involved in tournaments again.

Okay, I'll say it again: I've been verbal in complaining about moderator favoritism, in part because of a particular few mods, from a few months back.

One of those mods apologized to me tonight, admitting error; admitting having played extreme favorites to my detriment.

It gives me hope for CC.

Because I was so vocal complaining, I'm trying to be vocal about the new hope that apology gave.

I deleted the mod's name and inserted "mod" instead; took out references to the person that was the mod pet.

No; even at my most complainant, I'd never say every mod was mean and played favs. Also, per that mod, other mods explained the error, which means at least 3 mods try not to play favs. What percent is that? lmao

Even with evidence of a mod having admitted to playing favs, the admin here at CC puts the onus on members to avoid rather than the onus on themselves to make some changes. I base this on some correspondence with Andy.

No one is "smearing mods" for personal gain; in fact, I'm not "smearing mods" at all.

I did not vow I hated this place, I did vow I hated some things I was seeing...the very things I discuss in this thread.

It's more retarded to let wrongs stand than it is to attempt to get changes.

It's not an either/or; some things run nicely, other things need improvement, and I'm not the only one who feels that way...I'm simply more willing to speak out, despite abuses by the likes of you, Tisha, and others, because I'm willing to speak out.

p.s.... Bruce, "either you like the way things are run here or not;" If you feel that it really is such an either/or choice, then why nominate someone to help make them better, like you did in another thread? After all, you either like it just as it is, or not.

Could it be that some changes might be needed? hm... what an interesting idea!

You are turning this into a personal Issue. This is nothing more than how this site is run. They ask for help I will nominate someone I feel is capable of helping. Is change needed? Sure always is. When is it not needed? Nothing is perfect, but either you like how this site is run or not. Nobody is forcing you to stay. You stormed out some months back after being called a "retard" since the mods / admins did nothing about it. Move on from your admin spill already. The record broke long ago.

P.S. This is the 21st Century, and if you get offended by retard then you must be really sheltered.
