What is the script that Herpes and Demonfork use....

Postby Beckytheblondie on Wed Aug 12, 2009 11:38 pm

What is the script that King_Herpes and Demonfork use to repeatedly have their computers automatically press hotkeys when they are away from the computer. Their turns start the moment their opponent starts his/her turn. Is this script downloadable through greasemonkey or is this a program that is run on their computers?

The only script I use is clickable maps, and the hot key that I use is the "b" key.

Pissed off that your delay tactics didn't work? Leave for 6 hours & come back hoping that I wouldn't be online so you can sweep up for an easy win?

Sorry, not gonna happen against me. I don't give a f*ck, I'll stay up all night pushing the b key if it means making your dumb ass sad.

BTW..I heard about your little butt.

when using clickable maps, the "b" key works as a dual function, it refreshes the screen and starts your turn.

Wow, that's cool. Maybe I should download clickable maps.

That and these limp d*cked mama's boys feel the need to run out the clock so that they can exploit the freestyle format and double turn their opponents, sad really that they are so insecure with themselves that they feel this is necessary.

Someone explain to me just what kind of satisfaction can they derive from winning 3 points in a game from cooks?
I guess that the mods dont consider this a form of farming?

Probably a similar satisfaction to what you feel when you pop up in random threads to insult them...

Not that I support freestyle double-turns by ANY means, but it simply will not be changed. Management has spent too much time allowing a bug/flaw in their programming to slide. To fix it would involve them admitting they were wrong and looking like worthless administrators for letting it last so damn long; something teamCC is not too fond of doing.

There is no chance that it was demonfork's physical self pressing the B key all night. His turn begin at the same moment that i pressed B myself, but he did not finish his move until he came back to the computer and saw that his turn had started 15 minutes later.

Why a 15 minute break between when your turn started/I ended and when you finally deployed your troops.

I'm not opaque enough to believe that you AREN'T using some sort of .exe that automatically hits the Key B.

Is this allowed?

So, i asked Mr Google, and it took him about 2 minutes to find a link to a program that would do this.

Not that i'm saying anyone is using it, just that it's possible.

Looks like i've found myself yet another reason not to try freestyle. ;)

consider perhaps that he just waited until you were done what you were going to do because he already has the troop bonus....and then he can clean up what you did? I do this a lot when i play fs...start my turn and get my bonus, then wait till the person hits me to finish and then clean up

Simple... I would download an auto-typer to press "B" every second. I'm not sure that's how demonfork and that other guy do it, though.

Nothing moved until 15 minutes after I ended my turn reading the game log. I suspect this "auto-typer" to be in use.

Fair enough demonkfork, you win! Congrats! I'm not sad, btw, I'm happy I found out about this auto-typer. I took my turn when I got home from a wonderful date with my girlfriend. We went to a barbeque last night, too, and watched a couple of TV shows on the couch while you were supposedly "pushing the b key all night". Congrats! =D>

I don't think any moderator has said that they agree with the double-turn actions. I'd venture that almost all state that it's not currently against the rules. This isn't an issue that can be fixed just by making a rule (like the farming one). It's going to take a coding change, which apparently isn't the highest item currently on lack's to-do list.

The trick is just don't play freestyles with them.

They would lose their ratings very quick if they had to play in a sequential game. The only skill they have is a fast internet connection.

Freestyle is not about skill/ability it is about who can click faster. IMO that means whoever has less of a life to sit there and manage every second and click and attack out all at the last second why not let them. I just chose to not play those games as they are pointless.

Well, to each his own. I certainly cant keep up with either of them, but I sure do enjoy trying, whether I win or lose. In any case, the games are not pointless, because they are fun as hell. Not to say they are for everyone, but again...to each his own.

You can view the score of any player and respect it according to the types of games they play, since to some degree, thats what the score says, and while I dont enjoy ONLY playing those games, they really are fun as hell.

the question is though, is it fair for normal people who dont wish to use clickies or any other type of script to have to miss the fun of freestyle games when they have paid the same as the as i say "cheats"

answer: no.

i for 1 will not renew my subscription while it stays this way.

i dont really care if they want to use them but cant they just be marked in the profile as clickies user so we can avoid them. maybe have a choice in your own profile to either play clickies games or not and not allow them to play in a non clickies freestyle. that would be fair then.

well, i assume theyre not playing just 1 game at a time, how would it be possible to be sitting there hitting the b key constantly on every game, let alone how would an automated key press program or whatever switch between different games. seems that if they are using a script to do this, then it would have to be something custom, which i doubt is the case...

Oh really? 11 of my current 12 active games are sequential. One of them is against THOTA and two of them are games that you will never ever get to play in because they are for generals or higher only.

Game 5328660
Game 5403513
Game 5403446
Game 5298754
Game 5323834
Game 5403347
Game 5403352
Game 5403397
Game 5403346
Game 5403380
Game 5403325

I very regularly play and win sequential games and still maintain my score. You might what to make sure that you know what the f*ck you are talking about first before you open your anal sphincter that you call a mouth.

They are pointless to you because you suck at freestyle. The only way you can justify the fact that you suck is to try and belittle those that don't.

You seem to get something about freestyle that most don't. I gained respect for you that I did not have before our 1v1 2.1 freestyle game. You played like a champ and it was one of the most competitive, fun, high level games I have played. Most people can not handle that level of competition and therefore must make excuses for why they suck.

One of the reasons why I only put up 1 or 2 casual 1v1's at a time Is for this very reason. On the rare occasion that I need to sit in front of my computer for up to potentially 12 hours hitting the b key it can only be done 1 game at a time.

There's no need to state it's 'against the rules', but it's apparent to anyone observing the situation that isn't benefiting from the flaw that it's a programming error. The inability to start your turn immediately after you end was written in TO AVOID this kind of thing- which means that the intent was there to make it impossible to do so in the first place. Finding a work-around is a blatant obstruction of the original intent.

You are misinterpreting the rules...

"The player who triggers a new round is blocked from taking a second back-to-back turn and must wait until either an opponent begins their turn or half of the round passes"

The above situation only applies if I "trigger" a new round by ending my turn. If the clock times out before I end my turn the system triggers the new round not me.
