well I was able to join 4 games the entire day with the extremely low amount of available games started and go 3-1. Real bad drop on the loss. Lets see if I can get another 4 tomorrow.....sigh

You're only supposed to join one; after you win you stop.

Important Tournament Notice

The data for ALL of my tournaments has potentially been lost. I am working to recover it but as I am away on business all of this week, there will be some delay. Sincere apologies.

You can play more than one game, just not more than one game at a time.

The Sportsmanship Rule...
As there are only a limited number of moderators and a rather large number of public members, we are asking that everyone be courteous and play in only one game at a time. If you want to join game after game, that is fine, but please do not join multiple games at once in order to keep spots available to as many people as possible. If you are found to be hogging game slots you may be in danger of not receiving a medal at the end of the competition. All of the moderators will be trying to play as many games as they can manage during the time of competition to give as many people a shot as possible.

Thanks to all the Mods for putting this together. I know there are a few complaints out there but this really is a fun event to play.

Actually Witt I think that was just a ploy by Andy to distract you so that he could win.

I would keep joining games if I were you...

240 games in 24.5 hours= 9.79 games per hour
and this includes all the games which are for freemiums only.

Yeah, I had a feeling this was going to happen after reading the rules up there.

Its obvious that its written to let you play as many and win as many as you want, but at the same time, its obvious that hogging them is not cool either.

After I won my first game, I honestly wasnt sure if I was able to play more, and decided not to anyways.

I think in your case little wit, it was the fact that you had played 7 games already, and won one of them at that point, and were still joining. It could be considered hogging the games, but I dont actually think you broke the written rule. I think Andy just happened to see you play 8 on the first day, and called that enough for you. There I think he was justified....but I think the rules should have been a little more clear. Also, he didnt say you couldnt play any more mods...he just said you couldnt join the open games. You were still open to play them if the mod agreed to play you.

I think the rules need to be a little more refined. Probably to once you win a mod game, please leave the open games for others who have not had the chance. "You are welcome to join with mods that agree to play you, but lets allow everyone to have a fair chance."

Maybe next time. :D

you can only get 1 medal for the whole thing...so if you win and keep playing it is unfair to those that havent gotten into a game because of certain players taking the games over and over again.

Well, it really isnt your fault anyways, and Im sure youre not alone because it really does say you can keep playing one after the other. I think they just forgot to ask people to stop once they won...or stop playing the open ones once they won.

I read this thread and thought that we could only join one. I also read about the freemi only, and thought that I couldn't join 1v1's. Luckily lx told me I could. Only played 1 though.

Anybody know when medals are coming out?

When all games are finished, I believe.

With many Casual games out there, it could possibly be while.
