Yeah, King's been accused of farming more than people take meds for venereal disease - which is to say, a LOT.

Does he play a lot of low ranks? Looking at his games, I'd have to say, yup, looks like he likes to play with his privates

You have to look deeper, though.

1) Percentage-wise, his games include a wide spread between privates and generals, with nearly as many games from obviously skilled players rather than 90% privates.
2) There are many on this site who won't play higher ranks or higher ranks who know the map, whereas King's usually willing to accept challenges from any rank.
3) As for the games with ? it looks like he starts public games, or joins them, and sometimes ? join. In a couple of the games, quite a few ? joined, but it does not look like he's specifically seeking games with ?
4) His assassin games are spread over a variety of maps it does not look like he's specifically setting up multiple games that will go to the top of the list so ? join them.

Does he favor Mogul? Yes, frequently, and he's good at it. Does he favor speed games? Yes, frequently, and again, he's good at them.

But is he targeting ? - no. Is he targeting low ranks? Even if he was, "low ranks" aren't illegal and his games reflect games with many more higher ranks/people with map/setting experience than other high-ranks on this site will play.

Is he crude and vulgar? At times; but asked nicely to cool it if he's reaching a line, and he tones that down, as well.

While that's a point, there are plenty of Colonels, Brigs, Generals, etc, that a conqueror can play. There are some higher ranking members who focus primarily on privates or lesser sergeants, or those they know are unfamiliar with specific maps/settings. Which high-ranking players do you respect more... those who can beat a slew of cooks and privates on a specialty map, or those who can also beat a slew of colonels on a map they're also skilled at?

My point was that, even if he will dip down to lower ranks or favor his own preferences when he can get games on them, Herpes plays quite a share of higher ranks and opponents' choice games and, to my knowledge, rarely refuses a decent challenge.

I played 1 Vancouver 2 dubs with him. He basically coached me through the moves, and they were exceedingly solid. At that time, he hadn't really played it. Considering it was his first time dubs on that map, the strategy was solid, but bad dice did us in. He was very cordial and did not blame me for the loss. A solid player and a dangerous opponent.

Yes, I can't argue with that. He's won 97% or 2288 of 2361 games on City Mogul. He's won a total of 4408 games out of a total of 5504.

Discounting all City Mogul games, he has played 3143 games and won 2120. Without City Mogul, his win percentage is 67.4514794%

My math skills are limited, I used an online percentage calculator for that last bit.

Preposterous allegations! Clearly your brain isn't running at its optimal processing speed. Seems like most all I ever read from people anymore on the subject are their own vehicles of ignorance, collusion, contempt, seething aggression, perpetuating nonsense, and slanted views. They can try to come off as fair or just as they'd like but still leave tiny residuals of bias in every related post. One things for certain, the last thing these outwardly aggressive personalities need is time on the internet debating over frivolous things and taking all feedback without that ever so needed grain of salt. Because all debate is after you break it down is personal opinions on matters. So without the ability to see another persons perspective, one becomes opinionated and thus they are defending a bias. But in order to make others see your point of view you first have to build up a trust and tolerance towards accepting some of their ideals. Most everything I've ever read from people seems to reflect the opposite. It's a game, I analyze it/do what it takes to win and sometimes I feel I'm the only one who truly understands that. Ergo I am God.

Anyone else think that sounds a little bias in his defense? Or should I not ask because that would be AGGRESSIVE? Why would anyone, like me or most common CC'ers, post such a long post over something so frivolous?
