how original... team CC has a contest where you sport a sig with a partner, one premium one freemium (doubling the exposure of the sig)... and if you win the drawing the premium gets a medal and the freemium gets 3 months of premium. how can our rag tag clan give away a year, and cc can only manage 3 months? wow!!!-0

wow... how is it that our rag tag clan can give away a free year premium to a freemium, and team CC can only manage 3 months? i applaud you for your efforts (i believe the bandits invented the sig contest concept on CC), but CC needs to step up in the prize dept. it looks bad when a bunch of forum renegades and kick ass players can muster together the funds to give away a year premium, and team cc gives away 3 months... you are better than this team CC!!!-0

Congrats to the black jesus for forgetting that the CC team has done this for multiple years now, despite their yearning to mimic the BPB

Congrats to the CC entertainment team for making a contest that requires less effort/knowledge for the general populace.

For the record owen, we are giving away a total of 2 years and 3 months in this entire event. We can offer more people prizes by splitting up what we've got, so we can make more people happy. But then again i know i shouldn't be wasting my breath explaining this to you, since by your own admission to me you argue for the sake of argument.

Are you or your team going to come back with a rational explanation as to why you chose to shut Owen up because he exercised his right to state an opinion? After all, in the last 3 posts he was responding to something written by some one else. Or are we going to see the usual self righteous remark because some one in Admin/Mods has a thin skin and cannot take criticism. Well here's the thing Andy. The 3 month giveaway does look cheap. it does look as though this site is being cheeseparing and Fagin like in its approach. The Bandits are giving away 12 months and we have no reason to except to engender a spirit of community without asking people to follow our rules of signatures and avatars. This is Owen's beef and to be frank I agree with him wholeheartedly.

Are you now going to threaten me with a ban as I have written about the same subject (criticising you, Andy, and your team) twice in a matter of a couple of hours? Am I allowed just one more post of opinion before you throw me off the forums?

I can understand both sides now actually! Banning him 3 months is harsh for what he actually wrote! But since he's a repeat offender and notorious spammer/troller it's not much of a stretch punishment wise. He was actually just expressing his opinion though! Ina very forceful way though of course! I understand what you're saying but Owen is often going a bit overboard in his criticism and somewhere you have to draw the line between expressing a negative opinion and deliberately trying to bring down the general spirit! A hotel doesn't want a rambling hobo standing in the corridor expressing his thoughts on the end of the world even if he's payed for a room ! I've never liked his posts so I'm taking Andy's side in this one!

Perhaps you're right. But I see him as a regular contributor on CC's Facebook page, which is what I help run. That is the reason for my first post. I did not mean to sound like I was questioning the ruling, just mentioning that the Fb fanpage might be a little barren without him, so I apologize for overstepping my bounds.
