The problem is, we have so many custom maps... If I only had to worry about the classic map then it would be there, and its not worth it to do it for all the maps and then the positions change when a new release of the map is done or a new custom map breaks it.

I'm looking into reading the xml file ( AJAX Stuff ) to provide this kind of information. We'll see...

And if I can do that, I can provide custom drop-downs when attacking/fortifying.

really love the script, once i get a few extra dollars I'll donate. The script is so useful I have it installed on four computers and my fiancee (who doesn't play a lot) just won't play a game without it installed.

great work.

Since installing this excellent add-on a couple of weeks ago, I now realise I can't do without it.

Maybe I've missed a reference to this elsewhere, but will this be added to the main site at some point, so everyone has the features without having to download the script separately? I do wonder, especially when playing new recruits, whether the other players have this script or not, and how much of an advantage it gives me.

ATTN TROY: IMPORTANT

Postby ScaryMary on Fri Jun 30, 2006 11:02 pm

If this is the only way I can get in touch with you, then that's sad. Once everyone is in bed tonight I need your help to move all my stuff to my car. If you cannot help, I'll ask your brother to help me. I hope you are having fun.

once again Troy...thanks for the script...especially for us colourblind players.....it really does help and i dont know what i'd do without it.
One small thing mate...and its only small.....
Colourblindness differs from person to person as to which colours they can see or not...my prob is with green and red...otherwise every other colour is fine. Just wondering if in the colourblind script you could still display all the names and gamechat etc in the players individual colours. Having it all in black and white is a little bland and having the colours back makes it easier to differentuate between all the players.
Like i said.....small and trivial....but cant thank you enough for the script mate...i promise i will make a donation soon...cheers and keep up the good work :D

good suggestion, I'll most definetly do that... I think there are apps that will let me view pages as if I were colorblind.

Would you suggest shades of gray, carefully picked colors, or defaults?

yeah mate, the normal colours are just fine. Just having the (r)red and (g)green makes all the difference. Maybe its a psycological thing but just knowing that (r) means red, etc...actually helps me see the difference between the colours....wierd.....
yep perfect the way it is.....just a bit more colour would help....especially in the chat box.
cheers mate :D

Now what do I do?

I right click the link and install user script and then what?
:?

Forget about it. It works. I just had to log off and then back on. This looks interesting!

Is there a way to disable the Post Data popup warning with your script?

It's obviously useful on other sites, but there's no reason I shouldn't want to reload the page here.

The Post Data popup has nothing to do with the script. It just means that you're attempting to resend the same orders from last turn. Use the refresh link to the right of the map if its a problem.

@lilwdlnddude: Strength = Armies + PotentialArmies - 2*Countries/3

@Ronaldinho: Why would you want to do that? .... And even if you wanted to I don't have a copy of it anywhere.

skipped turns

Postby evster on Sun Aug 27, 2006 8:22 am

Hi Troy,

Do you consider skipped turns in calclulating strength?

The multiplier effect on the army allocation can be subdstantial.

Either way, would you consider showing how many turns each player has skipped - ie how close they are to being thrown out. This becomes important in team play with the new armies transfer to remaining teamate rule

Thanks
Evan
