thats not annoying or feeding the fire at all is it

t-o-m was permanently forum banned. He was attempting to circumvent that ban, therefore he earned a ban from the entire website. It isn't a complicated situation. He knew what he was doing was wrong and has paid the consequences. Further details can be shared by t-o-m at his discretion as he sees fit.

But t-o-m didn't make a multi. Night strike said he was site banned, but not for making multis. How could he get around a forum ban without doing that?

t-o-m can share the details if he wants. That is up to him.

Unless the information is public knowledge (like C&A), the mods are not supposed to answer the question. There is a guideline and I managed to actually follow it this time. =D>

Yay for you.

EDIT: I'm glad that you realised that you do break guidelines as well. Wooo.

Didn't you guys know that if mods aren't allowed to tell us something they should come in here asking us to guess for their own personal amusement? Or did you guys forget that joining a TeamCC automatically made you god?

This is from T-o-m, on PoA chat. Yes, I am posting for him. I don't care.

t-o-m wrote:I've sent an e-ticket, seems like a misunderstanding as I clearly have done nothing wrong. Would it have cost them so much time just to ASK me not to 'join a clan'? The only rules I have broken previously are ones in the forums, and they've always made it clear that the forums and the website are two different things. So now, I fail to see how with no warning I am permanently banned from the ** website for a rule that isn't marked in the ** guidelines without a warning or a notification about the rule, and with no previous infringements.

If you don't know ** = CC.

So.. What's up again?

from the guidelines :
Don't be intentionally annoying!

Common sense prevails - if you are intentionally or continually making this community less enjoyable for others, you're going to be removed from it. It's that simple. This applies to any part of the site where interaction takes place; in Forums, Private Messages, Live Chat and Game Chat.

And I can understand that applying to all clan's and usergroups can be very annoying.

Anything can be taken as being annoying. TBH, that's a pretty fucking shit rule. Hell, I'm being annoying right now, but most people don't give a f*ck.

I don't understand. It sounds like he was perma-banned from the site for joining a clan. What exactly was the problem? Why was he told not to join a clan?

I can see the reason why he could of been banned. He found a loop hole. Woop-e-doo.
When someone is banned from the forums, they cannot control pm's/wall/control panel which controls their profile, such as signature and email.
however, it's obvious that you can still look at clans, and that you can join them. this is not tom's fault, it's the admins fault, for not making it impossible to be able to join clans and usergroups.
he was just pointing out the loop hole. no reason to ban him for it.

edit: it seems like you can get banned for finding loop holes. i can't see this on the guidelines or rules.

My gosh, the bans for this site just get more and more incredible. It's so freaking random. Everyone just does what they do and then randomly people are banned. I say random because most people act exactly the same except some of them get banned for it and some don't.

In Thailand they make the rules for foreigners working here near impossible to follow, that way they can always have a reason to kick out foreigners that they don't want here. It's the same way with this it sounds like. Make the rules so that everyone is breaking them, then when you don't like someone you always have a reason for perma-banning them.

How was he asked to do it when he can't receive PMs? Email perhaps? I'd like to see a timestamped email.

He may of been given a warning, but y'know, HE CAN'T SEE BLOODY PM'S. Douche bag. You seem to be missing that, jpc.
Stop the trolling of this and just answer the bloody question.
Why was he banned for finding loop holes in the system? Quote the rules + guidelines on that.
And don't say being intentionally annoying, cause by god, you deserve to be banned for being a jackarse and annoying.

So.. Let's see. You sent him a PM (which, we all know, he couldn't see anyway) for joining clans (supposedly 16 of them, which Tom refutes). You then give him a website ban, for not breaking any rules (and if he did, please give quote of guidelines/rules to include evidence), and for not being able to see PM's.

You are then going to keep his map on CC (which he spent countless hours on, just so he could play it and let others enjoy it) but he cannot play it himself. So, he's wrongfully done (and you guys know that, we know that, it's a fact) and you are going to keep his map.

Nice one CC.
