2. You just reaffirmed my argument that you have 'synonym for rooster' envy of the players who are actually better than you.
3. Beckytheblondie wrote:KingOfGods is a better all around freestyler than Demonfork or KH. These three players, however, all rely on stupid "synonym for kitty-kat" tactics. They've all foed me because I have beaten them. (although, I do respect demonfork's reasoning, so I gotta through him a bone there...if he plays JR24, then -> props) Do I respect any of the the top three freestylers any more? Hell no.

Prismsaber seemingly has a bit of "synonym for rooster" envy. It looks like he just lost 13 of 20 1v1 sequential games to demonfork. Result? I'd rather have demonfork on my sequential team. (Yes, I know neither would want to have me on their teams, and that's fine!) Prism's points are a direct result of playing with, on average, better teammates than others.

I guess we should give the top honor to rabbiton, but his game selection seems elitist. I'll never get to play Rabbiton.

I really hope Thai Robert Takes the top spot, soon, though. When I invited the top 50 players on the site to play me 1v1 sequential, he and Chephren were the only top 10 players to give me a response back.

Kiron actually played me! I respect that a million times over. And ranked number 11 after playing only 311 games, WOW! Although his game selection seems a bit, uh, consistent... tee hee.

I'm rooting for PJDH to kick demonfork's little butt in Game 5883003.

Still reluctant to give velvecarrots credit for his score after he gained all the points through point dumping.

Who the heck am I to talk, though? I'll never hit 3000, let alone 5000 points. I'm just trying to light the powder keg.

Hope I have. Throw as much "synonym for poop" back at me as you can!

I already beat PJDH Game 5861758and will beat him again...

Oh yea...there is this Game 5403513....another game where I led my team to victory. I'm sure THOTA can blame the loss on you though.

And yes I will play JR in a 5 game series as long as we can agree on settings.

Top chap!

Demonfork recently contacted me to play a seq. game, thus proving that if a freestyle player wants to get some token sequential respect, then a Mr C sequential game is only the place to get it.

Also a top chap!

The rest have never played in a Mr C sequential game (and that includes YOU number six) thus proving that they are without question pale imitations of the demon herpes combo.

Sorry, but that's just the way it is.

Therefore the REAL top 5 (as in I've played them and so they therefore really exist rather than these odd names with no form or basis that seem to lurk near the top for no particular rhyme nor reason) would have to be:

King_Herpes
Demonfork
ComicBoy
Fruitcake
Rabbiton (who I've played with but never against thus leaving him in on rather shaky ground)

Not sure why you're calling me out Mr Changsha. I just took a look at your past 40 games or so and you have a ton that last past round 40 and even a few that lasted into the 100's. Yeah, those build up games sure look fun, buddy.

Here is the only game we've played together: Game 3523188

Pwned.

It seems it took you over 600 games to break 2,800 (and get to my score).

Bit of a slow learner?

Of course this seems to be the angst of the chap who fails to make the top 5 lists. The OP excludes you, I exclude you (even when you were actually qualifed to get on it)...I understand it must smart terribly.

The 100+ round build games make me want to tear my own eyes out with a wrench but I stand by my game selections overall.

You're an extremely smart and quick player. Did you ever consider what could happen if you devoted all this time spent on CC pressing B to something with lasting implications? Demonfork- you could feed 13 third world children or you can start your own coffee shop!

If you are ignorant you should probably keep quiet.

In response:
1. If you are the type of person who likes discussing turns on msn and generally get along with me, I would partner you. The best team doesn't have to have the 2/3/4 best players. Coordination is what's important in team play.
2. Not worth a response.
3. I have had some great partners, that is true. Part of having a good team is having partners you can communicate with and trust. I used to play with random partners, and through that I learned which ones like to communicate and which ones don't, and cast aside those who don't. I have recently been partnering with great players like sjnap and big whiskey (easily 2 of the best 5 team players on the entire site) and I am not arrogant enough to say I lead them. Mostly we are able to work in silence with someone throwing in a comment here and there. Then there are a very few other occasions where I don't know the map and defer general leadership to a partner, as in the case of a recent game where I was partnering with Loes, another great team player you missed. But make no mistake, unless coordination is seamless, usually one player has to lead for the best results.

I think I did pretty well considering I had never played risk before finding this website. Once I decided to make becoming a strong team player a goal, I shot up.

Funny, even if you were qualified to make such a judgment (you aren't), it wouldn't smart at all. The 6th place thing was a joke. Notice how I only had nice things to say about the players on the list? I would have left in peace had you not called me out. You on the other hand, I have nothing nice to say about. Your analysis and commentary in this forum about anything related cc is consistently lacking. You think you know what you're talking about, but you don't.

Oh go on...say one nice thing about me.

prismsaber wrote:I think I did pretty well considering I had never played risk before finding this website. Once I decided to make becoming a strong team player a goal, I shot up.

I'd only played about 10 games of Risk myself before my first game here.

However, a player with real confidence in his ability would surely just say 'Hey, I was experimenting with different styles before I worried about rank'. Your reply was certainly suggestive. 'I did pretty well considering...' Considering what? Your learning disability? Of course your trouble is that most players can always say 'Hey, I play for fun.' (or at least 'I played for fun then') But we all know you play for points and it took that many for you to work out how to win consistantly? You might well be the walking, talking embodiment of why the highest ranked players aren't always the best. 600 games and you were trying to make points??? You give hope to many a CC major that yes he too can also make the top 10!

prismsaber wrote:You on the other hand, I have nothing nice to say about. Your analysis and commentary in this forum about anything related cc is consistently lacking. You think you know what you're talking about, but you don't.

I think you find it difficult to differentiate between when I'm actually writing seriously and when I'm just writing for kicks. This thread is a great example of that. My original comment meant no harm whatsoever and was certainly not meant to be taken seriously...unless you really think I rate players on the basis of whether they have played me sequentially before??

You do, don't you??

You've got yourself all het up, and pretty much forced me to rip the crap out of you, because you thought I was being serious in my original post.

prismsaber wrote:Why are you calling me out?

I wasn't.

But you thought I was.

I don't suppose I can expect you to understand my thoughts on Risk. You can't even work out when I'm joking.

that is a good idea, but challenging to know for sure when a player starting going for it or not, so I cannot add that due to inaccuracy.

here is a list of the players 1st ten to achieve it though:

1. Paradicecity9
2. Johnnyrocket24

5. Prankcall
6. ronc8649
