i didnt read a lot of it nor do i encourage this but i do have a point to make that i think many people forget.
-the point system is weighted. if a high rank beats a low cook he might get 4 point or so. if they choose to play a higher rank they might get about 20 points. its risk reward, especially in 1v1s which can go awry depending on dice. harder to win the 20 pointer, but at the same time it takes 5 cook to equal this amount. i know when i was premium i played a lot of 1v1s against many different skill levels, and found that i made more points aginst high/mid ranks then against cooks/cadets because i would win 3 then lose like 40 points in one then have to play catch up for a while.
playing 1v1s against low ranks is idiotic at a certain point because dice are bound to be aweful eventualy and then you could be 50-60 points in the tubes.
so in summation yeah i see the potential problem morally but strategically its not any better than playing specifically high ranks (in my experience)
