No, it's the little "Moderator" under the name! It looks so cool! And your name is bolded green in the "Who's online" thing! It's SO awesome!

The green bolded name is NOT awesome! Most of the moderators hide their online status now because when people see our names down there, they feel compelled to send us PM's about any problem they have.

I know that. I've never seen you guys online… EVER! Besides, it was more of a joke anyway…

Only because I don't have time during the day to answer. I used to switch it every night, but then kept forgetting to switch it back. Moz usually handles the daytime stuff.... and he's visible.

I think it's cool to have your name bolded. It's easier to spot people when you're organising a rt. Thats why FP gets a pm whenever i have a rt

Here's my .02.

I am a multi-hunter, NOT a mod and I get all kinds of PMs just because my name is bolded at the bottom. If that is considered "cool", then I think it needs to be redefined. If mod-status is attained by just posting, then Reverend_Kyle would be the frontrunner and let's not forget that answering a "yes" or "uh huh" to the high end of 20% of hector's posts also does not constitute a mod recommendation.

Nobody realized that my name bolded comment was just a joke…

Well, all I know is that since the existing mods don't think that they need a new one, the most likely don't. They should know better than anybody else.

Being a Mod is a burden, not a privilege. think of it as the ring in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, you must carry it or all the [forum] will be destroyed by the evil great [dugcarr?].

Making hecter a moderator would be like hiring Dracula as the manager of UK national blood bank.

No it wouldn't… It would be like making a criminal a police officer.

Just thought I'd chime in...

At the moment, we aren't looking to add any more mods. I think we've got quite a handle on forum and the website. We have lots of things going on behind the scenes that are improving the quality of the site. Plus, I don't really want to look after another high-maintenance creature in the Zoo! ;) As Wicked and AK pointed out, the general community can also help improve the website and forum by contributing and helping out where ever they can, without an official capacity. So far, I think that is doing beyond well. Maybe sometime we will notice someone who could help us out, but this style of post surely isn't the way for that to come about! :)

Have fun, play games, slaughter your opponents, and help improve the website and forum. Live by those things. ;)

Even though they don't need new mods at the time I guess this would be a good time to start my presidential(mod) bid.

I've noticed many Noobs do that ^^^^^

Frankly its annoying, especially when the answer they give is incorrect.

Let the Mods do what they are here to do, not the noobs.. Hecter is still New to this site, and a obvious Mod wannabe.

I have been on this site for over a year now. I have helped lots of new people (I do not call them noobs-that is derogatory). I believe if they want or need another mod they will find one that works well with them.

They of course are doing a great job!!!

I would not want the job, but we can all help them by moderating ourselves first.
