Easily the weakest "conqueror" this site has ever seen. Don't worry, Max will usurp that title should he ever make it (then again he'll probably be legal before that slow climb finishes).

There are about 300 players who could get to around the same score using the same method IF they really wanted to and IF they have the lack of integrity that it requires.

Hardly. Herpes didnt ask a friend to throw him 3700 points like a previous Conqueror, or didnt get busted for similar reasons like another. He played honestly and is a good player.

The way people farm:

A high rank starts a game, no one else joins because they do not want to get slaughtered... that game becomes the first thing on the "join a game" page.

A newcomer to the site is not going to go to game finder, and probably not going to take a long time to choose a game to join, seeing as he has no clue what the difference is between Waterloo and City Mogul. Thus, they join the first game they see: the farmer's

I don't see a multi involved anywhere in that process.

P.S. Are you saying that the people who start those games can't beat a bunch of new members who just deadbeat, or make pointless moves?

I decided to give farming a try.

I just went 4-20, and the only kills I got generally were singles. Yes, 4 army kills and 20 losses... this guy goes and takes neutral territories in the first few turns and beats me that way... one of the most incompetent 1v1 strategies in existence winning because of ... extreme dice (his were at least 66% wins from what I could gather, although I didn't keep track of his). So hell, if I lose my first game...

EDIT: now at 10-43 ---> the main reason CC won't be taking another $25 from me = this game. I don't care if you say it's random, I'd rather NEVER experience such rolls and have the system rigged. Hence my 2 games a month now, and my departure from CC.

And no - I didn't count the 3v3's I lost, which was EVERY single one I tried. Didn't win a single one...! Although I only tried once I was already dead.

And I won't let the door hit me on the way out, dw guys

While I agree that the scoreboard would be different if no farmers existed on it, I think that the only way it would really differ is that about 95% of it would disappear. Only playing high ranks is a form of farming as well, just as playing low ranks is, since you no longer have to compensate for other odd and erratic styles of play which is an element to the game. Unless you want to address your own farming and the other types of farming which exist, I dont know how you can create an argument against it.

I actually read every post, and found it very interesting that unlike other congratulation threads (which I abhor and make no bones about it) there seems to be more than the usual number of detractors from your achievement.

I neither like you nor dislike you, I just find you fascinating in an anthropological kind of way.

I dislike self aggrandisement of any kind, including the type of which you employ. Unlike yourself I am not self absorbed. I, after all, am not the one who has bent the system in a vain attempt to gain recognition, as is borne out by your particularly poor relative rank. The simple fact is your achievement, for what it is, actually places your relative rank somewhere down amongst Major rank. Now if you mistakenly feel you have achieved something by this, then fair enough, that is your prerogative. However, that does not mean others such as I cannot pass comment or criticism, something you seem to have great difficulty in dealing with....which of course is further evidence of your innate inferiority and the complex attached to that problem.

You have got it wrong, my friend. I have no objection to any one that wishes to learn a map and try to play it better than any one else. I picked prohibition Chigago because it is a complicated map. So dumb luck is minimalized. I play no cards for the same reason. I believe that my skills should be the determining factor.
Although I do not care for freestyle myself, I have no qualms against players perfecting there F.S. skills. I start Prob. Chig. games, And I take on all comers. If the F.S. farmers did this, I would not see anything wrong with it.
But here is the deal, When a new, un-experienced player, starts his first game, He will invariably start a freestyle game because it is the default. He stands as much of a chance as a snowball in hell of winning against you farmers. You already know this. As does CC. Why seq. is not the default, I can only speculate. Why does CC set this trap against its new players. Why would they placate you vultures over their new customers. It seems rather counter productive from a business standpoint. You do not do what I do, And start a game with your favorite map and options, You merely feed off of new players that fall into this trap. There is no gaming skill involved in what you do. Now you beg for praise at your grand accomplishment.
It would almost be laughable, if not for all the time spent by us true risk players, to try for the brass ring. There are many very good risk players here at CC that deserve that shot. We dont get that shot because of your childish and selfish want for a shortcut. If you dont have the skills that it takes to be the best, get over it. Maybe you should learn to play the game of risk. And not this juvenile attempt at un-earned glory. You are holding someone else 's trophy and now you ask for praise for stealing it ? You and I have exchanged some bolstering words in a semi-friendly pissing match via p.m. but that's about the extent of anything of the sort. If you really want to understand my motives for doing what I do then I suppose I'll enlighten you. So have a seat and lend me your hearing aid. I originally joined this site to play along the same lines of fun and competition as most of the community. I was introduced to this game by my brother(300spartans). I dabbled in it a bit and became an instant success. I won more than half of my games and slowly got acclimated to all styles of play. Mainly my incentive for playing the game was simply to spend more bonding time with my brother doing something we both enjoyed since we are quite different people. We played and won many team games together and I was content with any rank so long as him and I could demonstrate ourselves as great competitors. However, then came along the mysterious blocking list which banned me from playing games with him and all the games fun was robbed from us. We both personally almost left the site.

One day, I made a joking remark to him that I could reach the number one spot. He laughed and told me I'd never even see the top ten. So my new enjoyment in a game that at that point then had nil became proving him wrong. It certainly didn't matter to me how I acquired it so long as it was within the rules. I most definitely devoted enough effort to be where I am. And for anyone that believes what I have done to get here is considerable cheating then why am I here? Remember people, that I once was like the majority of all of you with the same simple goals. Before I even started to "farm" I can tell you that I was a great player by most of your standards. I was a Brigadier with 16 medals under my belt, a 50+% win rating and all in under 800 games played(not that rank is what matters, it is far more important to play for fun) so to say that I have no skill is a joke. However, people see what they want to see. The naysayers have all proven that. In my opinion the players that have true character are the players that notice another good player without bias and solely based upon the games they have played with them.

I receive a lot of flak for how I "achieved" this rank but it is nothing I was not prepared for before I made that decision. I do it because it's my account and it's my prerogative. I would like to give a special thanks to all players who recognize my ability to play and who understand what it takes to get here. Thank you for our games and I've learned from all of them and without your help and that knowledge I wouldn't have come close.

You are a joke. You admit that you were a good payer, so why in hell couldnt you be happy with your true rank. Just because you were not good enough you decided to cheat to get to the top. Yeah, yeah...relative rank...blah blah blah. It's like all you people see are numbers. You don't know the individual games I've played and what it took for the more arduous victories. I don't need to prove myself ever again in any game. I know that I can play. I've proven that to myself and it's all in my game history as a reminder. That's all that matters. Your stupidity is immeasurable porker. Are you calling all the people who have given me congrats cheaters??? That has to be the most preposterous statement on this whole thread. I think you skipped the part where I said that I made the decision to change how I play when my brother and I could no longer play together. The bottom line is that your rank is a demonstration of what type of games you play and how well you do on them. You my estranged little pest play primarily one vs. one's. I hate to burst your bubble but you would never ascend or descend if farmers or cheaters were not here. My presence does not change your score by one point. You would never get too much higher than you are now unless you started playing private games with equal or higher ranked people and won above 50% of those one on one's. You think that I honestly have effected your rank by any margin? That's ridiculous. I can't argue with dumb people. You are losing any grasp that you had on reality and it's getting absurd.

My IQ is well over 140. I stopped playing for the most part in multi player games because I realized that I was being raped by multies that have taken over this site. Well guess what, the moment that I started playing 1v1 my rank has shot up from sarge. Hmmmmmm. I wonder why ? We do have something in common. You gave up playing the game you love to go for the brass ring. I gave up the game that I love (multi-player games) to raise my rank as well. Here is the main difference though. You farm noobs that start FS games out of ignorance, I picked a complicated map and took on all comers. Not as enjoyable as multi-player games but its an honest living. You on the other hand are a non skilled cheater. I can beat you like a drum my friend, without breaking a sweat. Why ? because I know how to play "RISK". And If the big king wants to prove me wrong, He will take up this challenge, and come make me shut my mouth. Until then, I will NOT bow before the king. For the king has no clothes, and no skill.
