Yeah, sure, not obeying an admin deserves a perma-ban...

16 times he ignored your warnings? Jesus, I would have stopped after 1 and banned him.

Oh cool.
But where's the rule which says he cannot find loop holes in the system because the admin haven't foreseen it? There is no rule saying he cannot apply for membership of clans that he cannot see.
Where is THAT rule, tooter?

When someone is banned from the forums, they cannot control pm's/wall/control panel which controls their profile, such as signature and email.
however, it's obvious that you can still look at clans, and that you can join them. this is not tom's fault, it's the admins fault, for not making it impossible to be able to join clans and usergroups.
he was just pointing out the loop hole. no reason to ban him for it.
edit: it seems like you can get banned for finding loop holes. i can't see this on the guidelines or rules.

I think it's fairly obvious that mods simply used the infraction as an excuse because t-o-m (along with similarly perm/forum-banned users as of late) was on their 'shit-list'.
The fact that he managed to circumvent per joining a clan is something programmers should have taken care of prior to him doing it. If it's that serious of an offense that someone can be site-banned, perhaps they should have taken the time to fix such an outright atrocity from occurring...

Actually... t-o-m was removed from all of his private forums when his forum ban was enacted. This isn't a "loophole" that the admins didn't foresee. He was attempting to rejoin groups after having been removed from them as part of his forum ban, a forum which includes private usergroups and clan forums as well.
Dancing Mustard was removed from his usergroups, FredVIII was removed from his, etc. This isn't a new practice.

But is there a loophole through which he could rejoin them even though he was forum banned? and if so, in which way did you warn? As in what method did you use.
Night Strike wrote:I doubt it was because t-o-m was on any "shit list" (b/c no such list exists). In fact, there weren't any comments about him recently, so maybe there was an e-ticket complaint from a member? I've asked to find out how t-o-m was warned, and his ban message said he could send in an e-ticket discussing the issue (which IS the proper channel for appeals).

Ask for a Print Screen of my PMed warning from KingAchilles in his SENT BOX.
