Considering that there are 26000 users on this site, I would have to say EVERY reported post would have to be taking up a disproportionate amount of a mods time. Unless a mod can handle the report in .19 seconds. Therefore we should all be banned. In fact that is a great idea, then the mods can have the perfect little sterile forum they always wanted.

@ Mojo, the forums have taken a dive if you ask me. Once Wicked and Twill left, things changed. Weather you liked either of those 2 they ruled with an iron fist, and it was usually pretty equal to all. Now I am not so sure who is ruling with any fist or if they are equal.

You're only saying that cause Wicked loved you and never did anything to you. Both of them can and did play favorites. Both of them absolutely did do things with their iron fist just because they could, not because they required an iron fist. There's a huge difference.

"Continued" is not past tense. It means it was still going on. And beating the dead horse could be considered a mix between spamming and trolling (spamming b/c the same issue is posted in many places around the site, and trolling b/c it's designed to illicit anger by making the exact same comments even though they have already been addressed).

Im not aiming this at Owen or anybody else in particular but really some of you need to grow up and face reality. Guidelines are just that, if you continiously push them , ignore warnings, push them some more, ignore further warnings,then you will end up with a ban in all probability.
It would be really nice , if instead of simply whining about how unjust and unfair everything is, if the odd member just put up his hands and admitted he pushed things too far . And please dont keep banging on about favourites and people being picked on, thats life, it happens , those with sense realise this in the real world and pick their battles accordingly.

PS No I dont grovel to the mods, past or present.

Good to hear you say that, as you have been around cc longer than myself. The real shame in it all is that the mods don't care even the slightest bit that this has happened. I don't think I have come across a single one of them that knows how to properly handle themselves or their responsibilities. They make even Barack Obama look competent at governing.

id rather keep it on-topic, but for you jefjef, ill risk the warning...

in the past the precedence was that posting for banned users gets you banned as well. and i know you guys love consistency. except for when it applies to you..

by your interpretation of the rules you would believe that posting once for a banned user is ok, as long as its not twice? this doesnt make any sense to me, why once? if you had posted twice for him would you believe that posting twice is ok as long as its not three times? since repeatedly infers more than twice? and why only read the top part and not the bottom part? why focus on semantics?

* If you choose to make posts for individuals who have received a vacation or a ban, don't be surprised if you find yourself quickly joining them in paradise.

it seems pretty clear to me, read the actual rule and not the headline...

edit: btw, i like owenshooter, im sad to hear that he is banned, but i can hardly say that i am surprised. i wish he could come back sooner, the forum will be a much sadder place without him around throwing around the race card and making the only logical posts coming from those that are anti-mod. you could learn a lesson from him jefjef, he may have been partisan, but at least the majority of his posts were well thought out and logical...
