From all I've heard about dug, none of this seems very surprising...

You see, Dung, you are not pathetic because you tried to bribe/threaten someone to make up for your strategical weakness. That was just lame. No, what makes you pathetic is the fact that you failed even in bribery and threats. AND you got cought. :^o [-X

In fact, I would suggest that we would all feel quite benelovent if we choose to unshackle dugcar and all the other criminals who have stolen points during the year...

Oh certainly what they have done is despicable, but think of how good we will all feel inside for giving pardons to all.

See, doesn't that give you a warm fussy feeling inside for doing the right thing.

This is clearly against the rules, and I hope CC does what's right and bans this guy. Whether you like the point system or not, this is not the way to bring attention to it. Bottom line, the rules are the rules. If Blitz is able to use the rules to his advantage, WHILE STAYING WITHIN THE RULES, then good for him, more power to him. What dug is doing is outside the rules, and should NOT be tolerated.

Im so glad I put dugcarr on my ignore list.

I knew you were very unpopular on the site and you hated blitz, but I didnt know you would go this far just to make him lose *omg* a few games.

I think he should be banned.

I've never really understood this exploiting the system within the rules dealy- I mean, I get how it's done- but doesn't it drain a lot of the fun and true spirit of competition from the game? And then the people who applaud them for it... All to get a larger peni..uhhh...number than the next in line.

I don't even know for sure what the 'bending or the rules' is exactly, but I don't care. I don't care about my points (as is obvious), though I try to win every game, I'm just not good enough to pull that off. But if someone does care about their points, and they use the system to help themselves, why should anyone care about it? Look at Dwayne Wade. A lot of people complain about the contact he draws, and then throughs the ball up, as though he's really shooting it (which I say he's not). I complain about him all the time. But it's in the rules. I say he's bending them. But you know what, it's legal, and he won a title doing it. You play under the rules, bend them if you want, but stay in the rules.

First of all, who are you, why do you have all the letters word for word, how are you involved with this, and why do you care about what dugcarr does so much? RISK is not only a game of deploying troops on countries & rolling dice, but is also a game of wit & deception. Don't get mad at dugcarr just because he is a more complete player than you....any legitimate means necessary

oh foolish yeti... it's a lot like shopping, y'know like when everything is like on SALE, and you can totally get more clothes furshur... some people say that takes something away from the process... but don'cha know, it's just like that... blitz just gets into it like that, i mean, like totally, and it is the points that then become the fun, and the spirit of competetion is in the points themselves, fursure, just like going crazy at like a sale at the entire mall, omigod, cause that would be like, totally bitchen furshur... and fursure it's like totally different than just shopping like for the fun of it, but like the sales are like even more fun, omigod, and this just makes me want to like go shopping like right now.. furshur furshur... so do you like get it now, cause, like I just totally explained it so like even a freshman could get it, furshur.

He's the third highest ranked player on this site, with over twice as many points as you. Nothing big though

Why wasn't this thread put in the cheating and abuse forum?

Plain and simple I wanted it to be read. I figured if the mods really believed it should go in the cheating forum they would move it in a second.

Blitz is a friend of mine and he has taken alot of abuse on this site for no reason other than he wont bow to others (not just Dug) demands of playing them. From what I can tell hes been called every name in the book while he tries to ignore it and just mind his own business. You can have your opinions about how he got his score but he hasn't done anything wrong and has never personally attacked anyone first (other than me for making a bad move). He deserves to enjoy this site as much as anyone else.

He, like many on this site, doesn't like playing in games with excessive swearing and abusive language. There is nothing wrong with that. Others don't mind it and thats fine and is probably one of the reasons the site is popular. I believe people should not be forced to play under conditions they don't enjoy.

However when I find out someone is trying to buy his way into his games that was it for me. I needed to stick up for a friend because quite honestly he didn't know what to do. I wanted everyone to know and they could decide how they felt about it. I don't much care any more because this negativity and constant crap has really turned me off on this site. I think it is plain wrong and the mods have let it get out of control and I believe it will cost them players in the long run.

I hope the people that run the site make a legitimate decision on how to handle this. Some of it is fun and games but this truly stepped over the line. When someone does this, admits he does it but yet says hes just trying to make a point about the scoring system..... you can decide for yourself what his motives were. I feel its a personal vendetta.

To me its nothing more than a personal attack thats unnecessary to try to ruin a player who happens to be of my best friends on the site. I wanted it to be read and hope the mods put a stop to it. If they don't I hope everyone puts Dug on their ignore list. Dug can provide some humor for CC and like I said I try not to take this stuff to personally, but IMHO this was a personal attack on Blitz and is a disgrace. I tried to make it as visible as possible for everyone to see.

People that have played me know I try to play fair and respect my teammates and opponents. I typically don't try and flame people, make fun of em etc etc. I can't stand by and let the enjoyment of this site be ruined for a friend by one person who has a clear vendetta against him by paying people off and sneaking into his games.

FYI - The one about the threat came from Kilroy. I did not write that.

I have the letters because Blitz sent them to me and wasn't sure how to handle it. I have known Blitz since hes been a Sergent. We play tons of doubles together and helped each other earn our ranks. We still play in the top level tourneys with each other.

I don't really care about what Dug does as long as it doesnt effect my friends and when it does thats when I become interested.

You said it exactly right in the last sentence with the word legitimate. IMHO this is not legitimate and I wanted others to know about it. If he was legitimate he would have cleaned up his mouth, behaved, treated Blitz with respect like any human being would and eventually Blitz would have played him. There is very few people on this site that would answer challenges like dug issued to Blitz nor would I expect anyone to.

Thats how I fit into it and if people think less of me for sticking up for a friend so be it. Ill ride that boat every chance I get.

Take a lesson from Dug & learn how to manipulate things to your advantage. Blitz manipulates how many points he gets per game & Dug manipulates the players thats what makes them great players, deal with it

well at least we now know who wears the pants in your online relationship with blitz.

what do u think about him constantly recruting players with scores under 700?

does it feel like hes cheating on u with a cheep whore?

do u guys talk about it?

do u say "why go out for a taco when u got steak at home blitz baby" ?

what is said

I think we would all like to know.
