I am going to complain to the admins about this because I have not broken any rules and don't deserve this treatment.

Actually simtom, you deserve worse than this, but since worse doesn't seem to be happening this will have to do for the meantime.

By the way your score will never go negative. You should have just asked instead of wasting everyone's time and ruining everyone's games.

In theory, if he were to lose 20 points right now (which could only be done by somebody else with 19 points) he would reach -1.

This was discussed in another thread (there have been a lot of threads about simtom, not as many as dugcarr1, but then simtom's still in operation), where one of the mods said there's code in the game that won't allow someone's score to drop below 1.

You're correct about the published formula for calculating scores, but that doesn't take into account the code that prevents a player's score from going below 1.

All I know if I haven't broken any rules.

I mearly signed up for a lot of games and then was un-able to use the computer.

If you check my last game I join that I hadn't played was over a month ago.

There should of been some kind of warning, no-one had ever contacted me to say stop not playing games. As far as I'm concerned I haven't broken any rules.

By the way your score will never go negative. You should have just asked instead of wasting everyone's time and ruining everyone's games.

Funny coz my score seemed to of droped 8 points not long ago.

You guys need to relax a little, it's only a game... Like I said before I'm just trying to see what happens when my rate goes below 0. Theres no-where in the rules against this, and I haven't dead-beated a game for over a month.

Take it easy guys =p

If it's not against the rules, why did you stop doing it?

Here's something you might want to look at when you have a moment.

As far as I'm concerned you should have been banned ages ago as a griefer same as dugcarr1.

And if it's just a game, then you won't miss it will you? So what's the problem?

You are right. You haven't broken any rules. But you an an ass and deserve to be banned.

And you don't join games if you know you can't use the computer. Which seems to happen to you a lot…

What does losing 8 point have to do with your score never going negative?

And you are making the game go longer than it should, and are making it unenjoyable for the other players. You are doing this on purpose, and in terms of you not deadbeating a game for a month, you might want to see this…

That was two weeks ago.

FYI, your score will never go below 1. We have measures in place to prevent this, so you can stop trying.

I stopped doing it because I found that some people weren't seing the fun side of it, and people were getting annoyed.

Ya and I haven't missed the game for the last few months tbh. Still I probably wouldn't mind coming on a few times in this year.

No-one actually ever asked me to stop. I would of if they did.

The reason for me getting kicked then is probably because it was a sequential game where people were taking long and missing a lot of goes. Check when that game started, because I haven't joined any for over a month.

Ya think! What clued you in? Was it the 49 negative feedbacks you've received.

simtom wrote:No-one actually ever asked me to stop. I would of if they did.

OK, here it is simtom, your official invitation to stop deadbeating:

You are formally requested to stop wasting the time of the other players in your games to the point that you get kicked out and ruin the game for the remaining players.

As far as getting in the next Battle Royale, unless you're the first player to join I wouldn't count on that happening. Do you have any idea how many ignore-lists you're on?

The site already has enough information (i.e., feedback, forums, chat, etc. ) available for everyone to make their own individual judgements on who should be ignored.

Your suggestion to add a mysterious bureaucratic oligarchy to manage a blanket ignore methodology smacks of something only lazy SOBs would want in order to fashion their ignore list.

So if you are interested in some in-crowd managing who is and who isn't worthy of ignoring, please please please put me on your ignore list.

So people complain here, but only offenders who have ALREADY transgressed the rules of CC will be added, and then we can choose who we want to ignore or not.

And so then why have a list at all? Surely these functions are already fulfilled by a quick scan of the Cheating Forum?

Is joining RT games and delaying them on purpose against the rules? No.

Is only swearing but not hardly enough to offend everyone against the rules? No.

Is Chronic suicide attacks against the rules? Nope.

That's the majority of the people that could end up on this list will look like. It's not made for multis or secret alliances, the cheat forum is for that, and they will get banned.

It's mostly for people that screw up a lot of games by some stupid actions, that are not yet against the rules. It's an indicator to those people, which could join the last spot of your game and ruin it. But with this list, you can add him/her to your ignore list before having to experience another ruined game by that player.

The feedback system works. The forums work. Banning work. But this list will add a prevention against some people that will merely join after every other players knowing you won't have time to check feedback. You can check this list anytime.

I already did that over a month ago.

But who are you anyway? You are not a staff member, you somehow think that because you have a high post count that you're can boss people around.

Fine, put me on the ignore list if you want. Its just means that I'll only play against noobs =p

simtom, I'm just someone who can go into your game history and see you deadbeated hundreds of games without so much as taking your turn once. I'm someone who can take a look at your 49 negative feedbacks, the most on the site. I wonder why that is? I'm someone who can look at your current score of 11. In my book you're a griefer. The sooner you leave the better.

You'll have no direct effect on me as I've had you on my ignore-list ever since you deadbeated in two games I was playing in. I would think the site administrators would be concerned about the effect you are having on new players who have the misfortune to be in a game with you. What a welcome to CC that must be. I wonder how many players you have driven away with your deadbeating. Congratulations on your accomplishment. What else do you plan to do to make the site better?

Simtom - you have spoiled 100s of games by deliberatly deadbeating - that is why so many people have you on their ignore list.

To be honest - there have been so many threads about your antics that the majority of players who read the forums would have had you on their ignore list well before this thread.

The fact that so many people were complaining about you ruining their games should have been an indication to you to stop it before it came to this.

However - I'm sure Grazing Cattle will take you off this list if you play nice for a few months.

The first is more of a problem because it looks like cheating. If they use different comps, then they won't get caught. For that he should be banned. The second is a good reason to put him on your list.

You have had no one in the community defend your actions. Most feel that what you are doing is in poor taste. If you would like to seek measures to get your name removed from the SIL you can petition for the committee to hear your case. I will contact them if you like, but I am 99% certain that they will stand by the decision to add you.

Sigh. Must say that I hoped that this silly idea would die out and ya’ll would go back to your regular business.

Again, I would like to point out the obvious: This is your personal suggested ignore list (or rather you and your “Committee’s” suggested ignore list). This is in no way a reflection about the general CC Community’s feelings. So far, I’ve only seen a dozen or so people posting in here. And those favoring this kind of bs-list are the same people who usually sit on a high horse as soon as tactics and strategies are discussed.

In the post above, you are allowed to go on a witch-hunt against this simtom guy. In my opinion, this should be done in the flame wars section, not under some kind of moral fake authority like this.

I had hoped that you would address the obvious sooner or later, like for example this post by ZawBanjito:

ZawBanjito wrote:I'm stating that it strikes me as counterproductive (shall we say) that you've started a big witchhunt forum for people who feel a need to complain more than they are otherwise politely allowed to, swaggering around like a sheriff doing "research" and passing judgement like a moderator, and then coming across hurt and defensive when people point out that there's no need to be doing what you're doing, like "I was just trying to help and I guess that some people want games to be ruined." Clearly, the vast majority wants either of those things.

So I'll ask a question: Why? Why are you doing this? Name one need that is being filled by this list you're putting together. One thing that is not already filled by a function of the site, or an appointed moderator, or the good common sense of any player here.

But I guess you’re not up to speaking about that pink elephant in the room, are you you little wanker? At least you is a little bit amusing, reading your posts in here makes me smile about the vanity of Man... :D

This is in fact a suggested ignore list, and Grazing will obviously add them by himself. The whole community is not taking part in this.

But, it's a good part of the community's feelings that will choose wether people end up here or not. Moslty by neg. feedbacks, or multiple threads among the forums. As you probably know, lot of people don't take the time to check the whole forums for people to add on their ignore because they make a HUGE disagreement with most of their games. This list places them all into it, with proofs they ruin a lot of games, and the reason why they do.

This is another solution beside total ban, and the community is able to choose if they want to play thos guys or not. Those who end here make a common agreement that they are annoying in CC, but doing it by respecting the rules.

Good points, nicely done. There's a very short line of people who would willingly play with simtom. His self-contradictory excuses do nothing to enhance his credibility.

Yes passispaws is a friend? So? I do "deliberately" help him gain points, so what?
