Ah, to have such power...

Max shouldn't be banned, in fact (like you I think) I am enjoying his attempts to take on three or four guys with many more years and a lot more experience.

Carry on Max!

Clearly you dont have an understanding towards what a flame is so I thought I would save you the effort and looked it up for a more proper definition.

flaming: An online argument that becomes nasty or derisive, where insulting a party to the discussion takes precedence over the objective merits of one side or another

seeing as you are so much more intelligible and experienced than I, please explain to me how every single one of joes comments can be considered anything othat than a flame:

joecoolfrog wrote:Absolutely correct, the more he tries to act like an adult the more he comes across as a rather confused little kid :D

by calling me a confused little kid he is exerting a sense of power and authority over me while trying to make me feel belittled. Meanwhile, by agreeing with you he is clearly taking sides in this online argument

you three are all talking to someone whom you calling immature, yet none of you have made any other arguments than by saying that I am a kid, henceforth implying that you are intentionally picking on someone who you deem weak.

Stating an opinion, especially one that is shared by a great deal of others, is not flaming im afraid you will find. Constantly throwing around baseless accusations is simply going to make your inevitable demise happen a little sooner, that would be a shame because laughing at you is such good sport :D

Do you even remember what the subject of this thread is?

p.s.-owen, if you are going to make a statement calling me off base, then explain what your definition is because as far as I can tell, you are just trying to be a contrary to whatever I post because you know that you are incapable of adequately telling me off, and that even as a team, you have said nothing which I have been unable to refute

the thread was about hulmey being blocked... it was resolved and explained... and now you are just running rampant in the thread, and it is quite hilarious.-0

p.s.-what team? you are PARANOID. just go to bed.

Bah! Defeated again by yet another cunning use of a definition in argument. How can you take on the dictionary (never mind a high school health textbook) and expect to win? You can't, obviously, so I declare myself vanqished and am currently dragging my dismembered body off the field of battle. By dragging, I mean I have lost both my arms (Max hacked them off with his rapier wit), one leg and the other to the knee (crushed by Max's flaming axe) and am contorting my mouth and nose in an attempt to make yards. It is slow going, I can tell you!

One down and two to go, Max!

(My withdrawl might have something to do with having to shuffle off and teach a class, as well as genuinely wondering why I am bothering to dice wits with Max at all. In that point I agree with you Max, I should (and do) have better ways to spend what little intelligence I have left. Good luck!)

the last definition came from http://www.urbandictionary.com

and in response to owens comment, you three are/were commenting in sequence and all targeting the same opponent so I would consider that a team.

Getting back onto the original subject matter for one moment if i may & yet another example of why speed games need to have better guidelines....

Yesturday i played a four player speed game Game 3495255.
After a couple of hours or so of play a player had to leave & got one of his clan member to take over from him,(fair enough,he was of simular rank),no problem there
However,an hour or so later another player(who was from the same clan by the way),left the game, but not because he had to go,but because he just wanted to...
2008-10-19 16:24:03 dirtydog wrote:This isn"t a fun game anymore i"d rather find a replacement
And off he went & his friend then replacement him
Now,again, maybe no rules have been broken here, but again, it warrents another reason why there needs to be better guidelines for speed games...let me explain...
Myself & another player had been in this game from the start & after some hours of play, you obviousely become a little fatigued.
So is it fair or right that a player can find a "fresh" replacement to take over from him just because he has become bored with the game?
I mean does this not open the door to "Tag team" speed games?,which it has to be said,it felt a little like!
Had the game had gone on & on even longer than it did, whats then stopping the replacement from finding another replacement to replace him? Then when he has had enough, he in turn then gets another replacement...do you see my point?
Now i would just like to point out that there was in no way anything underhand done by any player, infact,i eventually won the game
However,in my opinion, this again is open to abuse because a player could then be worn down over time by "fresh" players taking over in a game.
I know that i for one thought about giving it up through fatigue(5 hours of play by this point), & to be honest, had it not of been for the fact that i needed to win this game to gain my crown,i probably would have

When i do something my daughters doesnt like, she goes running to her mummy aswell Bumley
How can my last post be way off topic...its about having players baby sitting for other players during speed games is it not?...Erm,well correct me if i am wrong but is that not what my last post was about?
I suggest you put your personal feelings about me to one side Bumley as it is clouding your judgement mate & read my last post again
Its funny how you didnt quote any of what i said in it your post like you usually do...an attempt no doubt to throw the thread off track as it is possible that certain players my have "aquired"some of their points from others "Babysitting" or "Tag Teaming" for them in their speed games
Saying that, this could well be the very reason why some people may be disagreeing with any reasoning for having tighter guidelines introduced reguarding speed games!
No Bumley, what i stated in my last post is a very valid point in this thread my cry baby friend, but do go crying to the mods by all means although why you would want to...as like you have pointed out..."seriously,its only a game"

I am too lazy to read the rest of your post (sorry...not to offend you, it might be really well written, Im just not in to mood to read it) but the part that I put in bold IS against the rules. He chose to leave the game because he didnt feel like playing, not because he had to leave. I know the only reason I ever take over is when someone is having internet issues or sincerely has to leave, but if someone just doesnt want to play, they shouldnt have joined in the first place. What he did imo is against the rules.

Sorry I disagree. So being a better player is now called "abuse"?

So, what if a player skill improves to a point higher than what his rank says, I suppose we can call it also abuse. Or if he tries some new maps that cause him to get down in ranks but then comes back to the old well known maps in which he performs much higher than his current rank... is that also abuse?

I don’t see why you disagree. If a player joins a game against a captain, He expects to play a captain. If a higher rank takes over, it makes a joke of the whole ranking system. Our points are distributed according to score for score ratio. Max is a far higher rank then Hulmey. If someone was to beat Hulmey they would get less points then beating Max.
This may cause precedence for abuse. The whole system is open to players jumping in and out of games with whatever username they please to sit.

hahaha, so the abuse was about my rank? In that case I am perfectly fine with calling it abuse. Thank you all for admitting that my skill far surpasses that of everyone of the 21,713 active users who are currently on the scoreboard.

The only assumption you are creating is that rank is a direct proportion to skill, so in those two days where Prankcall's girlfriend went on his account and deranked him, you are saying that Prank lost his skill, and his ability to play went down. According to you, the form of gaining ones points or losing them has no factor on their skill and because someone has a high rank, they are therefore good at every type of game they play. While I would have to say that is true in my case because I am the second best player on every setting on conquerclub (:? ) that logic is ridiculous and moronic to say the least. Furthermore, that is saying that your comment in another thread, where it was brought up that I played for fantasianasian in a 4 player game against you, is illogical because I was the same rank as fanta when I played for him so you expected to play for a brigadier and ended up playing for a brigadier. The rules have to restriction on rank difference and calling it abuse because the second highest ranked player decides to babysit for other players is senseless. In a thread where a low rank person posted looking for someone to babysit while he was away for the weekend, sjnap stepped up and offered his services and as a result was commended by not only other players, but mods as well. Who I play for is of no factor or consequence to it being called abuse. I only play out of necessity and that is the only factor that should be taken into consideration when determining whether it is abuse. If I gave my account to alangary to watch, it may be my attempt to derank, but it would it is should not be restricted because of his low score as it is my decision to let him play for me and just because he has an extremely low score, it doesnt make him any less competent a player.

I read the first sentence and second. I can see where you are going with this so I can't be bothered to read the rest.
You admitted you are abusing the system . [-X [-X [-X
I'll leave it at that. Happy Monday.

KOE- you are saying that rank is analogous to skill and it would be stupid for me to refute that because I outrank over 21000 people.

My point was, skill is has no factor in the babysitting policy and just because a field marshal plays for a major, it is not any more wrongful than a cook playing for a field marshal. Rank does not mean that a person is good on every setting an in every game I play. Just because I have a high score, it does not qualify what I did as abuse, and in my comment, I was making light out your stupidity to claim it does
