It's a pretty lame excuse to ban someone for life.
This Andy guy must have been carrying a grudge. There's no way anyone using common sense would agree with his decision.
CC has allowed black marks on their history to remain. Remember when wicked went on a banning spree? CC admin agreed that she was abusing her power, so they took it (he mod status) away. But they did not reverse her poor decisions. They did not offer apologies or any other form of retribution to those who were wronged.
But that was then.
This is now.
It is time for the administrators of Conquer Club to take it one step further.
It is time for the administrators of Conquer Club to demonstrate that they value justice for the masses of their users over undying support for their moderators - even when the moderator has erred. When a moderator has made a mistake, their superior in the chain of command should reverse the decision. That is what is fair to the users - the customers - of Conquer Club.
Who does Andy report to? I think the forum community should be allowed to open a dialogue with the person who can reverse Andy's poor decision.
I certainly would be willing to discuss this situation in private messages and I invite the powers that be to open the line of communication. I may be able to offer new insight into this situation that would justify a reversal of the lifetime ban of my online enemy, Dancing Mustard.
