Ratings Medal Question

I was just thinking... I have the gold rating medal, because I rate every single person I play against. What would happen if I withdrew all of my ratings? Would the medal be taken from me? (I wish I would have thought of this when I had 501 ratings, so I could test it, but the thought only just occurred to me)

nope, went from 501 to 499 and i still got the gold medal
