Can anybody tell me what happened here? Did my adversary do something in-game or elsewhere?

read the elimination log -- he got booted for violating a cc rule, thus you won the game by default.

Did he do something to me in our game or elsewhere? Does it say anywhere what he did? How should it affect my ratings for him?

elsewhere. He got kicked completely off the site, go to his wall, he is not a registered user anymore, he's a guest. You don't need to rate him because he won't be playing anymore. He got busted most likely for being a multi, maybe for conducting secret diplomacy
